nullmouse
Mule Variations is excellent! My favourite is Nighthawks At The Diner, though - It's a live album, but the in-between song banter is worth so much!
The Ghost Of Fudge
if you like waits, go see the staccato set.songwriter ziggy's a huge fan. they have a song called 'tune' which is a tom waits tune with a different set of tom waits lyrics sung over the top. something like that anyway.incidentally the stacatto set play the fudge awards at moshulu on saturday evening (onstage about 8.30). it'll be their saxophonist's last gig with them before he signs for delicate awol on the transfer market. Dizzy Storm
Yeah, the Staccato Set are a good reference to Tom Waits. They cover a New Kingdom song called 'MEXICO OR BUST' but with Waits lyrics on top. However the song 'TEUN' is an original, Brian.Z
