somebody explain to me what "seven" is without referring to any other mathematical phenomena (numbers' date=' equations etc)[/quote']

seven is when you take one thing

then take another thing while keeping the other thing

then take another thing while keeping the other things

then take another thing while keeping the other things

then take another thing while keeping the other things

then take another thing while keeping the other things

then take another thing while keeping the other things

then you have seven things.

Here are the paper 1 (Higher Maths) awnsers for anyone interested:

http://www.invergordon.highland.sch.uk/departments/maths/higher/resources/higher2005p1solutions.pdf

I reckon I got around 70% from that paper, but a lot more on the second, so hopefully still in there for an A. It claims paper 2 will be up soon to check out.

Cut off scores for 2004 are as follows:

A - 78%

B - 63%

C - 48%

D - 40%

Quite a bit higher than other subjects, and maybe even higher this year since a lot of people found it relativly easy.

My that is a high pass mark, I hope the advanced mark for this year falls nice and low, I rather royally messed it up. Try as I may I can't find any answers online... but look at the ace board things they get at Invergordon Academy...

How do you find out what the percentage cut offs were anyway? I can't find anything anywhere..

Those percentages were for the 2004 paper, I think they decide whether to raise or lower the percentage depending on how well/bad everyone did.
