Swingin' Ryan
I recently picked up 90's classic Broken Sword 2 for the PC.Quick question for anyone who owns the game - Once the art critic is knocked out, the gallery owner is on his knees and I have the label from the crate, how do I get him to tell me where the docks are. He just keeps telling me to "go away".I appreciate this thread will be of no interest to most people, which is in keeping with the theme of The Wasteland. Marn
Don't you just use the label from the crate to find the location of the docks?I completed both broken sword 1 and 2 but that was a long time ago so im not sure.
Swingin' Ryan
That would make sense, but everytime I pick up the label he just reads out what it says, then when I exit the gallery my only 2 options are, the Cafe or the house I was trapped in. spleen_of_gold
I also have completed them both, but I cant remember. I thought he looked at the label and then went to the docks straight from there too. I suggest you just keep looking around the crates, maybe you missed something. But I'm going to go and play it now, cause it's ace, then maybe i'll remember.Sorry to be of no help.
Guest AmbientMood
I used a guide quite often, whenever I was really stuck. Do a google search.
Marn
I would also play the second game again but I no longer have it. I am still yet to complete the third game so I may play it soon.I miss Stobbart's witty humour

Jesus.H.Christ
The Broken Swords are class games but Mr Stobbart doesnt beat Guybrush Threepwood from Monkey Island for wit and humour. And by the way sorry cant remember what to do at that bit. kirkt
"Hey Nico!""What eez eet Jjjooorrge?!""Nevermind"that is classic! I prefer Broken Sword 1. Specially in Ireland "Who are you callin a kid mister, I'm 24, married with 3 kids" - Macguirethough George does deliver the best lines in 2 "aww c'mon everyone loves Pizza""Hey Bronson, what you doin? Just HANGING around?"and when he keeps saying "why?" to emily...im stuck on the bit where you have to turn the 3 wheels...ive a feeling im near the end and now ive kind of gave up on it. spleen_of_gold
Must get the third one! Sounds ace.I thought the first one was kool when he was on the train with Nico. Or when George keeps running into those two Americans-Dwight and Pearl (or somthing along that lines.)Tried to play Broken Sword 2 to help that dude out, but it wouldn't work, my game is wrecked.... Swingin' Ryan
I've tried re-installing it incase it's some kind of game glitch. It wouldn't be so bad if I was stuck on some kind of puzzle, but I've solved it, I know where I need to go, I just can't get there.

I think its pretty darn good myself!
jimr
Broken Sword three has the best ending ever, you get a sword and kill a dragon just like arthur. Oh deary me. I want to join a cult. Only annoying thing about the third one is the lack of point and clicky, and the stupid "quick press a button to stop yourself being run over" moments. Anywho, you don't ask for advice in broken sword, loser.

Swingin' Ryan
I gave up, I've solved the puzzle, it's the game's fault.I'm going to regress back to Broken Sword 1.
