Ben's music is inspired by Ryan Adams, Bruce Springsteen, Arcade Fire and Sigur Ros and he writes gentle and majestic acoustic tracks. 6. Been a busy year for these guys! They were excellent when they last played The Lemon Tree in May and I heard they were on top form at Woodend Barn recently so we're pleased to be welcoming them back. Having gigged extensively and played several festival spots including the recent Doune the Rabbit Hole they come back to give us a taste of their wild stage presence and captivating performances. Tickets onsale now and can be bought by clicking here, calling 01224 641122 or visiting the box office.
  7. Thomas seems a popular figure up here and we have him at The Lemon Tree on the 5th October. This will be an interesting one as he has some bizarre self made instruments such as his now legendary "hornicator" and motorized mechanical drum machines. Utilising these he then produces well crafted and touching songs. Tickets can be booked by clicking here, visiting the box office or calling 01224 641122.
  8. Following on from several festival appearances at T in the Park, Wizard, Belladrum and Insider along with support slots with Tynchie Stryder, Arrested Development and Sage Francis, Stanley Odd head out on their own tour in support of second album Rejects. These guys are an alternative hip hop act from Scotland and are quickly being recognised as one of the country's most engaging and entertaining acts. "One of the most thoughtful and entertaining acts of the Scottish hip hop scene" - The List Book your tickets now by clicking here, visiting the box office or calling 01224 641122.

  21. Here's an interesting one! Public Service Broadcasting are a duo who compose tracks based around samples from old public information films with an AV show matched to the music. They've been getting some pretty heavy airplay on 6Music and had positive reviews for their debut EP and its recent follow up. "We had this band play at the New Blood Festival and they absolutely stole the night, hypnotising with their groovesome and accessible live breakbeats and magical shimmering electronica." - Artrocker Tickets onsale now at www.boxofficeaberdeen.com, calling 01224 641122 or visiting the venue box offices.

Doors at 8pm so Gav Prentice will probably be on around 8.15pm and The Little Kicks 8.45-ish (maybe a bit later). Sorry for being vague but I'd head down sharp to make sure.
