  1. A Glasgow country rock four piece who visit us off the back of a successful year following the release of their mini-album Sound of the Storm and a set on the BBC Introducing Stage at T in the Park. They have followed this up by securing slots at SXSW, Canadian Music Festival and Eurosonic this year.   2. Glasgow based Admiral Fallow will visit The Lemon Tree on the 23rd May and will soon be releasing their second album Tree Bursts In Snow. There's a free download from their website http://admiralfallow.com/. Tickets onsale now and can be booked by clicking here. I saw them last year when they were with us at The Lemon Tree and really enjoyed it so would recommend this if you're after an evening out.
  3. Further supports announced for this are The Summer Set and Super Prime. As mentioned above, tickets have shifted fairly quickly for this one so would be worth getting in now.
  4. Folk / rock duo visiting The Lemon Tree on the 5th April. Second album came out at the end of last year and they're currently touring the USA and then onto Australia. Busy pair just now so catch them while they're on the up. Tickets can be bought here.
  5. A couple of days till this one, tickets onsale here and on the door. Sounds like it was a cracker at Shmeet the Beat in Peterhead on Saturday so well worth getting down for. We'll be open till 1am so will be a great night all round.
  6. This is tonight. Pretty good sales for it so should be a decent atmosphere. Unfortunately there won't be a hair smelling session but her songs will make up for that!
  7. Df Concerts presents Charlene Soraia at The Lemon Tree on 12th April. Charlene is an acoustic singer/songwriter and will be showcasing her debut album Moonchild. Here's a wee video to give you a taster: Tickets onsale now at www.boxofficeaberdeen.com.
  8. American pop/punk band We Are The In Crowd play The Lemon Tree on Thursday 19th April with support coming from Every Avenue. Their debut album Best Intentions was released at the end of 2011 and they seem to be picking up momentum. Tickets onsale now and selling quickly, click here to book.
  9. Local favourites Marionettes play The Lemon Tree on the 13th April with support coming from Velvet Audio, Kobi and Joy Riot. Marionettes play frantic indie pop music with a punk-driven edge, and it is played loud. Specialists in melodic hook-based tunes with frenzied tempos, coupled with cutting social commentary.   11. Same Faces launch their debut EP In It For The Money with a show at The Lemon Tree. The local group were formed in 2011 and produce a powerful and catchy rock sound. Tickets cost £5 (+bf) and can be bought by clicking here.
  12. The Ruckus launch their album through Fat Hippy Records at The Lemon Tree on 9th March. The local rock 'n' roll five-piece will be supported by Evil Demon Theory, Guttergodz and Estrella.   14. Lostprophets visit the Music Hall as part of their UK tour on the 24th April to promote their new album "Weapons". Tickets onsale today at www.boxofficeaberdeen.com.

  16. A top band who have a quite a few fans on here I think. They'll be visiting The Lemon Tree on the Saturday 25th February to promote their new album "Have Some Faith in Magic" with tickets costing £9 (+bf). Support comes from Remember Remember and Indian Red Lopez. Another chance for a cracker of a night out!   17. Discopolis visit The Lemon Tree on Saturday 11th February with the venue staying open until 1am for a clubnight. The band are an upcoming three piece from Edinburgh who are making all manner of lists for one to watch in 2012 and come off the back of a successful 2011, which included sets at T in the Park and Rock Ness. They draw influences from the likes of Friendly Fires, Foals, Boards of Canada and Deadmau5 so have a watch of the video below and imagine it being played in a small venue!   18. This will be a cracker! Rachel vists The Lemon Tree on the 3rd February as part of her tour to promote her upcoming debut EP "Black Currents". Her earthy vocals and intricate fingerpicked guitars combine to produce a captivating performance. Support comes from Steven Milne.
