  1. Facebook event page. Click attend and get involved! https://www.facebook.com/events/116141118590112/
  2. Just had some further tickets released by the promoter for this one, which are now available to book through the box office.
  3. Folk-inspired, multi-award winning singer-songwriter Seth Lakeman tours with his hugely talented band plus special guest Lisbee Stainton on dates around the UK in October. Seth has released six albums including 2005's Mercury-nominated Kitty Jay through to his latest album, Tales from the Barrel House, which confirms Seth's innate knack for writing both foot-stomping, sing-along songs and more tender, thoughtful ballads. https://soundcloud.com/sethlakeman/sets/seth-lakeman-tales-from-the To book tickets click here, call 01224 641122 or visit the HMT or Music Hall box offices.
  4. There are a few tickets left at the Box Office here or call 01224 641122. This is close to selling out though I'd expect them to be sold before the show tonight so I'd get in quick.
  5. Local favourites The Little Kicks visit The Lemon Tree after a busy period of touring. Having played throughout the UK, Germany and Holland culminating in two festival appearances at Brew at the Bog and The Big Beach Ball the band return to showcase new tracks off their forthcoming third album. The band visit The Lemon tree this August for what is always a great night so get your tickets! https://soundcloud.com/the-little-kicks/4-loosen-up-sample To book tickets click here, call 01224 641122 or visit the Music Hall or HMT box offices.
  6. Coming round next Tuesday. It was a cracking show last year so really recommend checking this one out and getting down early for Cara Mitchell as well.
  7. The North East's own Terry McDermott comes back to Aberdeen for a homecoming gig on the release of his new EP. Terry is well known here with his time in Driveblind but has recently found further success after finishing runner up in the US version of The Voice. As announced recently he'll be putting out his releases through Fat Hippy Records so great news for local music. https://soundcloud.com/terrymcdermott/pictures-mcdermott-burman To book tickets click here, call 01224 641122 or visit the Music Hall or HMT box office.
  8. This is on Sunday. A few tickets left in the box office so get in quick if you're planning to go.
  9. Some great reviews coming in for the new album. We've got about 100 tickets left in the box office so get in quick if you're keen to go.
  10. Make the most of your Monday holiday and come to this!
  11. This is coming round next week. They were excellent when we had them last year so looking set to be a good one.
  12. Lucy Rose visits The Lemon Tree as part of her upcoming tour. Having provided vocals on the last two Bombay Bicycle Club albums she released a debut album of her own Like I Used To last year. Having had a busy 2012 including largescale tours of the UK and US along with appearances at Hop Farm Festival, Live at Leeds, Latitude, Green Man Festival and Bestival, 2013 is set to be busier. https://soundcloud.com/lucy-rose/bikes-2 To book tickets click here, call 01224 641122 or visit the Music Hall or HMT box office.
  13. We've just received a message from Public Service Broadcasting who are performing at The Lemon Tree in May that they would like to have a brass section as part of their show. Rather than appearing onstage they would like people to video themselves playing the track and they will project the footage onto screens. PSB gigs are AV shows using projections and screens from start to finish. If anyone is interested here are the details we received: "We're heading out on our monster album tour in May and are hoping to take a virtual brass section with us. If you'd like to take part, film yourself playing one of the parts to Everest (preferably against a dark background) and send the results to us. We'll edit it all together and you may end up on one of our (many) screens. All the information you need is here:http://publicservicebroadcasting.net/brass-players-bat-signal/. Please share this post if you know any budding brassers..." Would be great to get some people in the north east involved so click on the link and get recording!
  14. That's right, United Fruit supporting. Saw them a couple of years ago and was well impressed. Times for tonight are doors 7.30, United Fruit at 8.15 and Twilight Sad 9.15.
  15. This is coming up on Thursday and set to be a banger! Still tickets available on the door and through the box office.

  17. Having supported the likes of We Are Scientists, Bastille, Spector and Peace, Young Kato head out on a tour of their own and we welcome them to The Lemon Tree this June. Writing danceable synth based indie-rock we're expecting this to be an energetic show. Already featuring on TV shows and getting decent radio play these guys may be one to watch in the future. https://soundcloud.com/youngkato/lifes-good To book tickets click here, call 01224 641122 or visit the Music Hall or HMT box office.
