  1. Aberdeen Performing Arts and Interesting Music Promotions present The Phantom Band with support from Supermoon (formerly Meursault). " a thrillingly inventive band." **** Uncut "The Phantom Band's debut was one unique record, charged with the notion that rock music has far from exhausted its every possibility. The Wants is the same, but bolder, richer, its components more cleverly integrated...Amazing." **** Mojo "As grand as their 2009 debut Checkmate Savage was, it's unlikely even The Phantom Band themselves envisaged something as remarkable as The Wants for it's follow up" **** Q "The Phantom Band should really be celebrated for what they are: that rarest of things - an excellent British rock band" NME To book tickets in advance click here, call 01224 641122 or visit the HMT and Music Hall
  2. Unfortunately this has had to be postponed until Saturday 21st Feb, purchased tickets are still valid for this date.
  3. In a special seated performance DJ Yoda will take the Aberdeen audience through an incredible visual and audio journey. With video clips playing in the background he soundtracks them in a fusion of clubbing and movies. Described by Q magazine as "One of the top 10 DJs to see before you die" this is a great chance to watch one of the world's best at The Lemon Tree. I saw this show at a festival a few years ago and it is a great show so highly recommend it. To book tickets in advance click here, call 01224 641122 or visit the HMT or MH box offices.
  4. One of the most imaginative characters on the pop music fringe, Thomas Truax (pronounced troo-aks) travels the world performing with his "band" of bizarre self-made Tim Burtonesque instruments including a motorized drum machine made of bike wheels called 'Mother Superior' and a pimped-up Gramophone called 'The Hornicator', as well as his venerable resonator guitar 'Hank'. Support comes from Craig John Davidson and The Kitchen Cynics. "When he performs, it is a spectacle - the originality and seeming impossibility of what he does is much of the appeal." The Guardian "Genius" NME "His gigs are extraordinary, like cabaret nights fizzing with showmanship" - Q To book tickets in advance click here, call 01224 641122 or visit the Music Hall or HMT box offices.

  11. Swans are an American post-punk band originally active from 1982 to 1997, led by singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Michael Gira. The band was one of the few groups to emerge from the early 1980s New York No Wave scene and stay intact into the next decade. We're really pleased we've got this coming to The Lemon Tree and sure you'll all be in for a great show! To book tickets in advance click here, call 01224 641122 or visit the HMT or Music Hall box offices.
  12. Described himself as "Caledonian Soul", Blue Rose Code is Edinburgh born singer/songwriter Ross Wilson. At the edge of contemporary alt-folk, Wilson's music evokes a meeting of Van Morrison and a young John Martyn, both shipwrecked with a bunch of Motown records. Supported by Cara Mitchell and Matt Boulter This is part of our Freshly Squeezed shows where we aim to bring tomorrow's stars to The Lemon Tree today. To book tickets in advance click here, call 01224 641122 or visit the HMT or Music Hall box offices.
