Forgot about my game gear! Fuck all games for it tho. Gonna be sorting through everything for moving in the next couple weeks, so I'll no doubt find a few I'd forgotten about. I'm setting up the second bedroom as a games room, so I'll be using as many inputs as poss on my TV so I can flip between all the consoles.

Just raked through DVDs to find something to watch and found one of my favourite films of recent years - Death Sentence. Kevin Bacon, Garrett Hedlund and John Goodman. Fucking AWESOME film! *****

Like it. Still remember playing Chaos on the Spectrum. It was fantastic and actually worth the load time, unlike Altered Beast - spent ages loading and then I'd die and have to wait what seemed at the time like forever loading the first level up. Never completed it until it came out on one of the compilations on PS2.

Proud I've still a healthy collection of mega drive games, but rarely play them or the good old ZX Spectrum (think there's around 50 games for that in a case under the stairs). Still got and occasionally go back to my old PS1 games tho and think it's fantastic that Playstation Store has classics like Rayman and Abe's Oddyssey available for download. I've even got some rare stuff on PS1 like the Suikoden games and Legend Of Dragoon. Some others, like the Final Fantasy games, I keep and go back to in the run up to a new one coming out. Any moments of gaming nostalgia/old games you remember playing on previous generation/antiquated consoles?

Being constantly asked to confirm the same information over and over by people you already told the day before. Most recently this has been from my parents, asking when I'm moving out. This has lead me to believe one of the following: a) dementia has hit them hard and fast; b) they have developed a deep seated secret hatred of having their 26yr old son living at home; c) they really want to set up a sex swing in my room once I'm gone.

Anyone else find Dakota Fanning to be insufferably annoying? Watched War Of The Worlds again the other night and realised the worst bits all have her on screen. Actually hated Man On Fire cause I was half cut and kept thinking "why the fuck save that freakishly large eyed little bint whose sole contribution to any film she's in is to open said eyes and either look scared or scream?" Push is not the greatest film, but she's less annoying in that, purely because her head's growing enough that her eyes are becoming in proportion and she's got an almost punky look. I have no clue, but I've trophies for 46 games on PS3. Some I got rid of before trophies were added for them, but kept the saves on my external hard drive. Left more than a few just shy of Platinum cause I can't be fucked hunting down, for example, the remaining 40-odd feathers in Assassins Creed 2. I'll have Platinumed Heavy Rain in another hour or so's play tho. First game I made an effort to Platinum was Dead Space - awesome game! A total pain to get everything on is Final Fantasy XIII - about 90hrs play time and still at 75% Ridiculous time spent earning money to mod stuff to get hard enough to beat last two optional bosses

Pasta, really thick cheese sauce, dice up some bacon and a smoked sausage. Simples and damn fine! Did make a blueberry sorbet once. If I ever get round to making it again and make it into a blueberry baked alaska, like I keep meaning to, I'll be a happy bunny.

Ah - but did you watch the bit after the credits? That was pretty sweet. Got bored the other night and watched the god-awful Mutant Chronicles. ALMOST as bad as an Uwe Bol film. May have to watch an old classic like Willow to balance that one out... Or GI Joe - oh wait... it too is fucking terrible.
