    Bought it in 2004 if memory serves. Great guitar, ALWAYS gets people coming up to ask me about it at gigs.

    Happy with the jangle I get from the compressors on my Zoom MS50G, lots of other cool effects too. My Burns 12 string helps also.

    Don't fuck about with valve amps if you don't know what you're doing. Even when turned off they can still have lethal voltages.

    Bought these on here a couple of years ago with a view to building a project guitar but I've done fuck all with them. Also a white Duncan Designed humbucker (apparently, no markings on it) for a fiver.

    Nowt wrong with putting better pickups in a Squier. I had a shot of Moon Moon's and it's a fine instrument as is but would no doubt benefit from better pickups. Somebody was selling a set of Texas Specials on Gumtree.

    As per title, anyone have a spare lead? Just got my amp back from Dennis Marshall, looking forward to firing it up for the first time in 4 years and realised I've lost the lead.

    I play in a country band. That said, I was practicing with my other band and the Soul Food was sounding ok into the Orange amps they have at Tom's. But not as good as a nice valve amp.

    Just got an EHX Soul Food. I'm normally a clean player so maybe not the best person to offer an opinion, but it's certainly the best overdrive I've ever used.
