Thinking of thinning the herd a bit so offering this up for sale.
This is a 1962 Airline Rocket Lap steel. Manufactured by National/Valco with THE classic lap steel pickup. This particular model is widely regarded along with the National New Yorker as one of the best looking laps out there.
I acquired this from the personal collection of 2 time British Blues Musician of the year and all round lap steel god Son Henry.
The main thing to say about this instrument is that it's the mintyest mint mint mint condition 54 year old guitar you will ever see. Truly looks like it was built yesterday. Comes with the original hard shell case which is a bit bashed but still perfectly functional.
Looking for £550 or will possibly consider a trade for something cool.

FWIW I played with Chris (drummer) for many years and he was always very, very good, haven't listened to these recordings yet.
