  1. Same could be said for you guys I suppose. Each to their own. If the 14 year olds like Yashin then fair enough. At least it's not Elliott Minor!
  2. That is not what was meant. It's hardly the promoters fault if a band pulls out. Why bother posting if you're not interested in the gig. Criticism is only good when it's constructive!!
  3. Good support from the general public of Aberdeen...
  4. You've said Drummonds.... but then it says Tunnels... Where is it?!
  5. Yeah, they're only doing the Glasgow date. And as far as I'm aware they are the only support.
  6. Support is Twin Atlantic. A very nice band from Glasgow!! MySpace.com - Twin Atlantic - glasgow, UK - Alternative / Rock / Powerpop - www.myspace.com/twinatlantic As far as I'm aware they are the only support. Dunno what time they'll be on though. Send them a message through myspace, they're usually quite good at replying! =] Enjoy!
  7. For their first show... it was utterly fantastic!! =]
  8. They are forgettable.... Well I can't remember what they sound like! :S
  9. Got my tickets yesterday at 9.59am! Lol. Well... thats what my laptop said anyway!! Cannot wait! If the gig in Dundee is anything to go by, the new material will sound top notch and their banter will still be flowing!! Woooo!!!
  10. I often wonder what bands think when they come to Aberdeen and are faced with practically no crowd. That sucks! Johnny Foreigner sound good as well.
  11. It's always the same! I went to a gig in Tunnels which had 12 people there... but in Moshulu where Foals were playing it was practically sold out. There needs to be more communcation and people looking at what's on where and whether they are similar or not. The gig I went to had no advertising except the posters in the Tunnels. The band I went to see - The Ads, had actually previously supported Foals... It's frustrating when you go to a gig and you know the band could really put on a good show and no one knows about it. Or when you find out about it... It's already past!
  12. I know this... I've been to Scratch Perverts on a previous occasion. And I see that Optimo are returning again and DJ Yoda is heading to Kef. I agree about the venue thing tho. But I was really referring at bands doing DJ sets. When most of the time they just press play on their ipod. That's all! Liquid would never be able to justify putting more diverse/creative acts on... You've seen the client group and you've seen the people who go to Kef/Snafu, they don't really go hand in hand. And to be honest, it would take a lot for me to back to Liquid!!
  13. how many times?! surely we need a change some new interesting dj sets! just my opinion!
  14. ok this is true... you are so very right, however i think it's just because i was hoping for frightened rabbit... wouldn't be wanting some half hearted third support so best without!
  15. noooooooooooooo... i want a third support!!!
  16. well, whilst you were all enjoying Foals I was one of 12 people in Tunnels watching The Ads... Who had originally booked Moshulu but were turfed out. They could've shared a bill. Shame there was hardly any people at the gig. They're good! =]
  17. Indeed.... merely just speculating about what it may possibly be! and i will have to put that date in my diary!!
