JJs are probably one of the more economical choices as they don't cost too much and do last much longer than a lot of other brands. Personally I have never had any problems with JJ's (revalved a mesa with 16x 6L6s), good solid sound. The winged C's are fucking hot though, used an amp with them (albeit through a nice cab) and it blew my mind

I've heard the same thing about JJs.

I had Svet Winged Cs in my Mesa when I got it. They are a sexy sounding valve, but I've not heard anything else through it to compare it with. I've got a mix of Mesa and Svet now. The only thing is, they do seem a little fragile and don't seem to last very long. I'll be going with the JJs next time, because it's all I can afford.

If I were you I'd go with the slightly more orbust JJs, good chance it'll reduce the risk of any of those Bugera horror stories we've all heard actually happeneing.

That kit looks very nice. I can understand buying all of this for pleasure, but not playing it is down right criminal! Baffling.

There was an amazing one where these Spanish looking fellas were prancing about in multi coloured, verging on neon tee shirts for the 'poppy' bit with the autotuned vocals... THEN BLAM, the beatdown comes in and they're all wearing black. I think the bit that amused me most though was the ridiculous bass slide, but they didn't even have a bassist lololol.

EDIT: Just a note on Confide - they are the biggest genre-hopping, bandwagon-jumping pieces I care to know about. When Bring Me The Horizon first started out, they played a similar, shitty deathcore type thing, then they decided Underoath were cool and totally ripped them (look at photos of the two bands side by side) now they're doing the whole crab thing. Eugh.

That sting bass is SEXY.

From what I've heard of the record their sound is hella tight.

I'd probably go for the senn's as well for what you're after, but if you want a bit more 'portability' these are out standing. The bass response in unreal.
