  4. Trying to think of anything endorsed by anybody ... that would influence me to buy whatever it was.... Nothing comes to mind... For example seeing Carling all over Celtic or Rangers football strips would actually make me less likely to buy it ... that and the fact its shite... Same for most endorsements even for people I admire...
  5. looking for a vocal coach who can teach me & fellow bandmates harmony vocals and vocal techniques. Any suggestions welcome. Ta Stuart
  6. ebow plus has a harmonic switch extra... it sounds a little different ... not so much that you would swap the standard one for it ... I have both ...

  8. Looking for some EL84 valves ... 2 at least ... Also any AX7's must be in good condition or new unused. cash waiting. PM or text 07554 995610
  9. I totally disagree with however said "Don't got to Krakow, I thought it was a fantastic city really beautiful and we visited Auschwitz which was a life changing tour and something everyone should do. Harrowing but its something you wont ever forget. Rome is far and away the most fascinating city I've been to. Second was Florence, Milan is too industrial best avoided unless you like fashion. Flying from Aberdeen limits you quite a bit, but Lufthansa now have direct flights to Frankfurt worth considering for Germany ... I never got to see Frankfurt we just used it to get to Warsaw, which I'd love to see again. Lisbon is also a great city and the seafood cafes are superb. Personally I'd like to visit Istanbul.
  10. I have a classic Les Paul... its a cracker a light sunburst like iced tea or similar, the neck is fantastic... as Ronz says its a nice thin neck I totally love it ... and its never for sale. If played quite a few Les Pauls and I think mine is the best...
  11. I realised it might have been a pun, but most of you kids don't use words like squib anymore so I was just checking ... I reserve the right to correct puns, spelling and grammar ... as I see fit ...
  12. You are making the mistake of assuming that the film is real life .... its a movie ! and one based around a comic book... normal rules don't apply... But it was still a heap of shite...
  13. I'm looking for one... must be in good condition. Cash waiting ...
  14. Patti Scialfa AKA Mrs Springsteen !
  15. Nah I'm correct and you're wrong ! Caine is well quoted of often doing movies that have no artictic merit he only does them for the money... An honest thing for him to say, and in this case he was obviously doing it for the money.
  16. Honestly I thought it was rubbish ... Michael Caines hammy acting was awful... Bane had a poor squeeking sort of voice that wasn't in any way menacing ... The whole thing was too cliched and predictable...
  17. In perfect working order. Not had much use at all. For a 10 Watt practise amp this actually sounds really good ! it has a surprisingly deep rich tone. Also a headphone output socket so you can practise without disturbing the neighbours or parents. Also a CD/Ipod input jack so you can play along. Ideal for beginners. £25.00
  18. Superb ! I had a similar experience when my pal and I went to see Ian Hunter play in Newcastle back in 1977 or 78... long time ago. Anyway my mate Jim was a big fan of Mott the Hoople so he talked me into driving down there. We arrived in Newcastle early so we headed out to the gig venue (Playfair ballroom ?) and there was the great man plus band doing the soundcheck. So we just went in and listened! no-body else around, just me & Jim and Hunter et all, inlcuding Ariel Bender (sic) and other ex Mott band members... After he finished Ian Hunter just started chatting to us, what a gent! gave us a couple of beers, and invited us to have a look at their guitars etc asked us about what music we liked... Jim could barely speak he was so star struck. Ian gave us some free tickets and and some more beers! The gig was brilliant! Happy days!
  19. Epic wah ! and tone ... Just "discovered" him ... kicking myself for missing out on his talent and his original singer / bassist Jimmy Dewar has such an amazing voice ...
  20. A legend ... I suspected it was coming but still a shock.
  21. I lost my iPod when visiting Kualua Lumpur ... it was a classic 30GB, I'd had it from new... It was like losing a limb I lasted a week before buying a split new 160Gb replacement... now I need to buy some more music to fill it up. At no point in the above proceedings was my willy touched. (except by myself of course)
  22. Title says it all... A tweed cabinet would be extra desireable. Stuart PM or text me 07554 995610
