Hallo! Im looking for a new project after leaving my old band. Im looking for something a bit more bluesy/rock. Influences (and don't shoot me for this) range from Guns n Roses and Black Crowes to Tom Petty and Bob Dylan. Im a fan of old school stuff that isn't massively heavy but has good melodies and lyrics. I have gigged heaps in the past two years including Rockness, Belladrum and radio sessions on Northsound 1 and Vic Galloways Radio Scotland show. Im not sure if im up for anything massively serious at the moment but i'll see how things go! pm me if anyone is interested! Ta!
For sale, my beautiful Fender Hot Rod Deluxe in black vinyl. Going for a steal at 420 buckaroos. I do have photos but have no idea how to get put them up but i can easily email them if needed. Cheers!!
I once saw an awesome laptop rave act type thing up at goNorth. The guy looked like he was working pretty hard on a mac whilst someone else sang. Surely its like DJing but on a different medium? Anyhoo, i was impressed.
Have any of you actually seen a cow? They're the happiest guys around, the same goes for pigs and sheep! They are treated extremely well by the vast majority of farmers because, simply put, a happy cow is a tasty cow. Vive la beef!
Have you got any cases that would fit a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe? Im also looking for a case to stick a pedal board in, roughly 1.5ft x 3.5ft x 1/4ft. I'll bodge the board to fit if needs be.
They took a percentage of the sale proceeds which i didn't know about because i didn't read the uber fine print. It cost 9 to list which i was fine with, i wasn't prepared for the extra fees.
I bought a G7 after having problems with a cheaper spring-loaded capo. The old one screwed with the intonation and everything went sharp further up the fretboard. Some online research told me the capo was too tight so i bought the adjustable G7. I clamp it on fairly lightly and it works a charm, the intonation is dead on. The only issue is that i have to tune again if i move the capo between frets/play with open tuning, its no biggy though as its never far off.
