  1. I am not sure if I am happy with Ride comparisons, I am going to take it as a compliment though! ;)

Thanks to everyone who has left feedback, it is always interesting to see how people view our music. The two new songs were recorded at Musical Vision by the way. I'm quite chuffed with the results to be honest.

Ride comparisons are good...in any circumstances...being compared to Ride is AWESOME!

  2. do NOT buy japanese!

Thing is most people are delighted with Audi's. You may just have a car that's slightly rogue. My last car was brand new and I had six months of problems before It got smoothed out. However my new car is also brand new and in the year I have had it I have have had zero problems. Depends what your budget is really.

Saab are a great option and we have had many in our family for as long as I can remember. They are VERY costly to service so bear that in mind but you'll be used to that what with having an Audi.

Again, do not buy Japanese, you may as well have a sign on your head saying "Hey, I have no personality!!"

  3. What a pointless comment, they aren't trying to be record producers!

Anyway, i see where the MOR comments are coming from, but i think, in terms of the local scene anyway, that's anything but safe. It would be much safer to have a lot less melody and play in some supposedly edgy or alternative style, because in aberdeen that's what people seem to get plaudits for, cos it's full of thick-skulled art rock elitists.

    It so is.

What is with all these people who are into that wank. It's like "oh you don't like post rock so you're opinion doesnt count!" FUCK OFF!!

  4. That maybe so but they are ripping off just about every 80's metal band. They don't even sound that tight, the guitar playing is too rigid and the whole song just drags at that pace to be honest.

But, like Milner said, there is much worse bands out there.

Not being a dick but I would guess you dont know THAT much about 80's metal. They're not ripping off every 80's metal band at all. They are heavily influenced by 70's and 80's hard rock.

  5. It's not brave pretending to be an 80s hair band when Aerosmith are still releasing and selling Greatest Hits cds.

The guitars are muddy, the drum sound is flabby, the playing is downright boring and the vocalist is pub band standard at best. It wouldn't matter if they were playing this naff bollocks or Girls Aloud covers. Pish.

Well..as you have Bright Eyes in your recently played tracks ill chalk your opinion down as "Invalid."

  6. No way! A conversation between Scorge and Bladeola and no words like...

    Emo

    Chip suppers

    Haircuts

    1200

    Heart attacks

    selling out

    Pies

    record deals

    weight.

releasing tapes in shitty eastern-block countries

    :dunce:

I think the word "shitty" needs to jump back two words ;)

  7. I watched it and it's pretty cool.

I think it's awesome that they dont give a shit. They sound and look like their influences which in todays musical climate is very brave. Singer kinda reminds me in this video of Sebastian Bach which is ALWAYS a good thing.

  8. Still on Testament, was "Low" seen as a poor album? That was my favourite....

Low was not seen as poor generally. It was pretty much at that time their heaviest album. It is my favourite Testament album. Alot of people didnt give it a chance because it didn't have Skolnick on it...Big deal? Peterson and Murphy filled his shoes quite well with the solos in my opinion being more memorable than Skolnick's!

  9. I only need Reign In Blood nowadays.

Title track aside, PWYP isn't that much cop.

Jesus...that, IMO is a bad call...each to their own though. I think PWYP is consistently awesome. 3rd best Testament album in my opinion.

You see i actually see Reign In Blood as awesome but a bit overrated with South of heaven, Seasons and the new one all being better.
