  1. All I have is the one disc best of CD, which is good but I really ought to get a few others since they were pretty great. Does anyone have the album of Jim Morrison reciting poetry over some music tracks? It's pretty weird. I think Stoned Immaculate comes from it.

An American Prayer. It is kinda rare. I own it on Cassette. Find it on Vinyl and you're doing well.

  2. the word 'cretin' i feel would be better used to describe someone that supports paedophilia, on the premise that they 'thought' the kid was 16.

Technically i'm an aberdonian, since i was born here. So your Yocal/backward comments have a flaw too... but that doesn't bother me as much as your pro-peado views.

You just keep coming back for more don't you?

You're one of my favourite kind of Internet big men. The ones that can't just ignore wind up merchants like me. It's so much fun!

I guess i'm outed! I totally am pro-paedophillia! I mean why not eh? Live and let live and all that...Ahh well let the witchunt commence!

  3. BOOORRRIIINNNGGGGG!

Have you missed my point? If she didnt disclose her age and looked of age then can you blame them? That's is what I'm getting at. To be fair if a female is going to degrade themselves in that way then i'm over it anyway. Oh and RossP, if you think I care about some minor shitstorm over what I say on this website then I'm not sure where you have been hiding! Your insular "oh boy, I cant wait to see him get it for that post" attitude is brilliant. I need people like you to remind me what not to aspire to. Keep it real.

  4. Im still waiting to be pawned by Ben regarding "modern metal".

Oh btw, I like "Bury your dead" does that fit in your "starting to sound like an old bitter man" stereotype?

"It's over"....better throw away all of my cd's from the last 10 years, better not argue...even worse...I might make a SPELLING MISTAKE.

Are you still banging on about this age thing? Christ!

Going on about it like you are further shows you have some kind of insecurity. Calm down dear, It's only a joke.

And to be fair, saying you like Bury Your Dead is so uncool. Like, get in the now man!!!

  5. It was ding as fuck because it was boring, weak-as-piss metal wank with a few blasts chucked in to try and paper over the cracks. A third-rate LP of ripped-off Iron Maiden riffs with OTT production to hide the fact that the songs themselves just didn't cut it. I should have heeded the warning signs when "Necroticism" came out, but I didn't. "LOL, my bad".

I remember a Bill Steer interview when he said Venom should have split up after their 3rd LP. Not a trace of irony either.............

    fucking hell...lost cause!

  6. Yeah...sad really isnt it?

Arise is just that perfect mix of Thrash/Death metal. Chaos AD, is more groove laden and kinda like hardcore with some of the tribal elements coming in without being too overbearing like Roots. Still also has a death metal vibe to it as well.

  7. Barrowlands still ranks as my fave, but they don't seem to do gigs so often anymore?

    ABC was great for Down.

The Venue in Edinburgh has a special place in my heart - is it still there?

ABC is great, its wider than it is long while still being a large venue, so wherever you are, you're not far from the stage. I love it. Although, the sound can either be great or awful. No middle gorund.

  8. Hold up!!!!

Did someone just question Pantera's musical output o_O

Their only bad album is Reinventing The Steel and that was good by most metal band's standards. Nobody can touch Vulgar Display Of Power, Cowboys From Hell, Great Southern Trendkill and Far Beyond Driven for me. They are among some of the best metal albums around both lyrically and musically.

I've still got to check out the new Machine Head album. What i've heard was alright though.

Supercharger is one of the worst albums i've ever heard though. It's like someone said to Robb Flynn: "Go and write a full album that typifies everything that's wrong in the world of nu/rap-metal in the next 30 minutes". It's ridiculous.

I was listening to 'Soul Of A New Machine' by Fear Factory last week, first time i'd had it out in ages, and it's a cracking album (pity Fear Factory have gone steadily downhill since). As are Chaos AD and Roots by Sepultura.

Pantera in my eyes made 2 Perfect records, one awesome and one damn good. They are an incredible band and will always be one of the most influential Metal bands ever!!

Machine Head's new album is, after 7 days of solid listening, is just insanely good. In my top ten albums ever, if not top five.

Chaos AD was the last good Seps album. Roots isn't as good as people made out. In fact, I thought it was pretty weak. All you need is Beneath thr Remains, Arise and Chaos AD.

  9. I 2nd that emotion. They have like 3 good songs on Burn My Eyes and that's it. Same goes for Pantera. The 1st half of Vulgar are the only good songs they have done. Other than Planet Caravan but that's a different story. But anyway.... MH are wank.

    *spits out coffee*

    WHAT THE FUCK????

I question this world when people make statements like that.

  10. okay, fair enough guppy could fire in a good cross....but that was about it.

vidar riseth was good every now and then....i remember tommy johnson scoring a hat trick against someone during the john barnes era, who was that, dundee or something? we annihalated them anyway. i kinda had a soft spot for TJ after that.

    Eyal Berkovic, anyone?

Err...bad call! Berkovic was a wicked player for Celtic.

  11. About to own you all here actually.

Tony Cascarino to Celtic. Cost a million back when that was quite a bit for a player. Scored 4 goals. Was a great player, just not there.

Brattbakk wasn't that bad if i remember rightly. Neither was Cadete or Petta.

The huns were gutted about Kuznetsov. Cost a bomb, was an awesome defender then, crocked first game. Career ruined. Poor dude.

Of course being a Leeds fan I need to watch my step with regards to what and whom I criticise at the moment. I guess alot has to do with certain clubs, styles and players surrounding them affect how a player is at a club. Then you just sometimes get some pure pish full stop.

  12. Black Album tour would indeed have been nice.

If I could've seen them live only once - it would've been '89.

Good point. On the Justice tour they were still that little bit dangerous but were the biggest METAL band on the planet as opposed to one of the biggest bands on the planet.
