Ascension are playing the day before at ivory blacks in glasgow, but if your up for it we'll play, seeing as we havent been nominated for anything this year i think its fair! hahaha maybe i should keep quiet, sometimes it can be a good thing not to be nominated for anything

im glad you think we've improved, it has taken a lot of time/effort/lineup changes haha! but i think we're on the right track now! Will be crackin to see blaze again! even more crackin if we get to play to haha, regardless it will be a tremendous gig indeed!

i could be quite interested in this, ad hoc basis works... probably sometime in january, i particularly need to work on my breathing techniques, etc. youve heard me sing before so im sure you could probably pick up quite easily what it is i really need to work on. ive got your number from back feugh fest days, can i just give you a wee text or something when ive thought a wee bit more about it? would be good to hear from you to see if you think you can improve my singing, ive been lucky with singing so far lol, i lack some key skills! and i feel like a noob. what dya think?

Ok finalyl threw this together after lots of nightmares with bands having to pull out etc, but finalyl got a lineupish! lol Acoustic opener with Episodes Epic Power metal with Ascension and beasting thrash/heavy metal with Downfall!! still looking for one more band if anyones interested Tunnels ( Tunnel 2 ), carnegies brae as we all know 8pm, Thursday 18th December, 3 at the door, lots of totty due to grays school of art having a party in tunnel 1 LOL. so should be good banter! hope everyone who likes this sort of shin-dig can make it

well i guess none of the like 4 or 5 bands involved thought about that at the time lol when your drunk and hyper though, does anyone think about the cleaners in the morning? nit. apologies for our drunken trail of doom. least we didnt steal shit like that dundee band your on about, didnt hear about this, sounds fucking awful. we'll have more respect next time

haha yeah we realised it was a complete scam, hence why we intentionally did not promote the gigs very much at all, and didnt beg people to vote for us, although it was good that wads of folk still did, didnt make us look to lazy haha!! and yeah the free beer and free food was bangin! we made such a mess of moshulus backstage dressing room, with crisps, vodka, beer, coke haha. the crisp fight was especially cool, we got to meet a LOT of other aberdeen bands who were sound as fuck and had loads of banter, and that was what it was all about at the end of the day, i actually said at the end of our set for people to vote for dividing the silence! lol i thought they deserved to win the most, they brought a true bunch of young fans, i could see they had the music in them, and not a crowd full of drunken neds shouting football chants... but yes,big scam, we used it mainly as an excuse to play moshulu a few times to a mixed crowd, get our stuff heard, and im glad to say its been a positive experience all round, we lost nothing, and gained a lot....technically by playing their game loll. i feel sorry for the bands across the country who really really tried hard to win and think this will get them somewhere, when it clearly wont. i urge everyone to read the red battle terms and conditions and no i wont pay for your new monitor when you spray tea all over it from your mouth when you burst out laughing avoid these events at all costs id recomend overall though, waste of time, waste of money. waste of metal.

was a really good gig, i enjoyed it! the top 3: 1: The locals - 3824 2: Ascension - 3569 3: Dividing the silence - 1982 I think we done pretty well though, considering we didnt put up any posters, and didnt bother selling any tickets. wasnt in it to win anyawy, just glad there was a MASSIVE crowd and everyone seemed to enjoy it

Hey there this thing isnt getting very well advertised so i just thought id give everyone the heads up! The Aberdeen regional leg of the Red Battle has been awesome so far, and the Regionals finals are taking place on friday 12th december at Moshulu 21 bands entered the competition, and only 8 are left, only one band will go through on the 12th to the national final in liverpool, at the carling academy. these 8 bands are Ascension Project Zero The Switch Dividing the silence The Locals Atik Star The Aftermath Emyrea Ascension, Dividing the silence and The Locals have so far been the top 3 voted bands to win so far, so its gunna be an absolutely stonking gig on the 12th bit expensive, 7 a ticket! which can be purchased from any of the bands playing if anyones up for going!! just thought id pimp this out!

ok so im selling my car next week! and i want to see if anyones gonna be interested, still need to clean it lol! pics will come on request... ok so, 1999 Vauxhall astra MK4, metallic blue 1.6 8v ( cheap to insure, not to gutsy on fuel, yet still nippy enough ) 85000 mls 5door hatchback 16" alloys ( well scuffed from previous owner lol, but still look quite cool! ) just had 2 new front tyres fitted not that long ago! just past its MOT 7 or 8 weeks ago, cant remember, so roughly 10 months MOT left 5 and a bit months road tax left comes with CD player with Aux-in for ipods etc although the CD player sticks out a bit because ive never bothered getting it fitted properly, this is a 15 minute job that i just cant be bothered doing lol! now for some bad bits Theres a dent on the front passenger door thats been there sinc ei got the car, its probably easy for a body shop to pop out, its just never bothered me so ive not had it done. its got the usual scuff marks here and there from a 9 year old car, but nothing major exhaust back box rattles a tiny bit, one of the rubber mounts have gone, fiver i reckon frmo kwik fit! no problems. Also, its really hardly noticable, but there are some small spots of white paint on the front half of the cars paintwork, this happened when i had my old house painted and the spots drizzled down onto my car. again, this would take about an hour with some t cut and a good buff to take care of, but i just used this car for A - B and it never bothered me. With all this in mind, im asking for a fair 900, but im open to sensible offers, if you want to come and see it, id advise you wait till i clean it haha!! if your interested though, ill make a point in cleaning it sooner rather than later All in all though, this car hasnt let me down in the year ive had it, my reason for sale is that my uncle has a sweet lil convertable for sale that i just have to have, and so this baby has to go, she has been a pleasure to drive! no we know what he means, this tunnels gig ran smoothly the drummonds gig went completely tits up for reasons i wont discuss, its in the past now though. but yeah, this isnt the gig, the one that went tits up was with bloodnut at drummonds
