yeah im not saying its not important to release recordings, im just saying its not a very good way to judge a band, especially when most local bands spend very little money on recording, or use very cheap equipment to record,

we've gigged with dead metal 2 or 3 times, there an awesome band....but i cant say their style is even close to being similar to ours, you were closer with black atom lol

There are currently no active power metal bands in aberdeen apart from us, Unless Everwicked are still doing things, but i dont think they are....i believe there are probably one or two trying to start up in aberdeen...but as mentioned before, its such an obscure and demanding genre, its probably quite difficult to find a complete set of commited power metal musicians willing to form a band As for carnagecamca, thanks for all the support! Its good to hear positive things about us on this site for a change we have no reason to listen to the naysayers.

Hi there Ive been singing for 3 years in Melodic Power Metal band Ascension, and im looking to work on a few things that i require an experianced tutor for. Firstly id like to work on expanding my range without venturing to far into the realms of Falsetto, which i do a lot in Ascension, i want to be able to hit those higher notes with more air and strength, if that makes sense. I also need to be taught some good breathing excersizes and also im sure if a tutor hears me sing, they will be able to pick out many more things i could work on Can afford to pay a good rate, lets negotiate! willing to travel up to maybe 10/15 miles for tuition, live in kincorth Aberdeen at the moment and have my own car. yeah thumbs up to everyone involved! i had a blast playing this gig, brilliant! small turnout for the kick off gig made no impact on enthusiasm, people were still mad for gettin dooown lol!

ill be at this I went to school with Aaron from paige for about 7 years when i lived in england, splendid fellow! lol not to mention a very talented band

Thanks for the feeback jayne =] yes i agree our recordings never do us justice, they are all home recordings, and i guess they will do for demo purposes for now, but one day we'll record a proper studio production.

yeah i knew this already, we've never had luck promoting ascension here! but i just thought id see if there were any hidden power metal fans out in here who might not have seen/heard our new re-energised material and shows

Paige are an excellent band, went to school with the guitarist aaron for a good 7 years when i lived down in england! ill definatly be coming to this
