Stopped messing about and now concentrating on the storyline missions for Fallout 4. Now all I seem to be doing is killing everyone I ever made friends with.

I got Elder Sign for my christmas. Best present ever. It can be played 1 player as well but for that I just play the iPad version. As for Catan, I bought the expansion packs for my mate and they make an already great game even better. I do want Star Trek Catan, I think I saw it in Waterstones before xmas. It's payday tomorrow so.................. Also had a conversation with a guest at the hotel I work with. He said if you like Catan to look for something called Tikal. Haven't had a look yet but he seemed real excited about it.

If I had to find fault it would be not enough Sarah Silverman for my liking.

The Muppets had a strange effect on me. Anytime I watched it I walked round with a smile on my face for days afterwards. The Dark Knight Rises: In my opinion, better than The Dark Knight but I know pretty much no-one agrees with me. The Avengers has taken up most of my movie viewing spare time. 4 times in the cinema, twice on the plane going to Canada and twice on the way back and now multiple viewings on Bluray. Honourable mentions to: The Desecedants, Moonrise Kingdom, Looper, Silver Linings Playbook, Skyfall, The Pirates! In An Adventure With Scientists!, Cabin In The Woods. The Guilty Pleasure Award goes to Here Comes The Boom. A shit movie but entertaining.

Not a board game but worthy of a mention. Just had our first game of Fiasco! the other night and it's amazing. If you and your friends enjoy roleplay games/like film noir/are bad actors/like a laugh/want to excercise creativity, then this is the game for you. We recorded it as a podcast too.....link at the bottom of this post. Yeah, that was a cheap plug but this game is truly amazing.
