Edit: Having looked at the list again, I suspect more regular visits to TMB are in order... Shamefully, I've only been once. Saw a mates band, during which I turned round to see the awesome sight of a 40-something woman dancing with her dog (oh yes!).

(I then got scared off by the hardcore band that followed, drank copious amounts of pear cider, and spent the following day barfing like fuck. Happy days! )

Was at a poker night last night and necessitated the need for late night transportation to teuchterville. Quite a late finish, so my options were either a taxi from town, or nightbus to Inverurie and taxi from there. I took one look at the massive queue on Union St, and opted for the bus.

This was 2am, so not chucking out time, and there were a whole two taxis there that I saw.

We lost a good few channels at the weekend.

I've not checked which ones, but hopefully there's now no excuse for QVC to be on at any time.

It was only in a kickabout, but possibly the best thing I've ever done playing football was: Flicking the ball over a defender's head, nipping past him to chest it down, before sclaffing a left footer past the keeper.

A cheese-eating surrender-monkey playing with us at the time told me it reminded him of Gazza in 96. I had to try REALLY REALLY hard not to lamp him.

And then there's ghosting past Diesel like he's no there half the time...

On topic, I quite fancy living somewhere in Eastern Europe. Croatia, the Czech Republic, Ukraine or Poland would be good.

We were lucky to be 2-0 down at half time against Brechin, just did not start the game at all. Fortunately we were competent in the second half and levelled.

Even more fortunately, I'd covered my bet on us to win, and ended up a whole 20 to the good!
