I am frigging hating the amount of software updates on consoles. It's worse than pigging Windows! Half an hour ago, I thought I'd have a quick squizz of GT5. First the PS3 needed an update, then GT5 did. Piss off, console makers!

Holy crap, I'd have hated to report on that! Deadline is as close to the final whistle (normal time) as possible for daily papers. Report would be mostly written (and probably sent for early editions) when Orient started their comeback, along the lines of 'Non-league Droylsden caused a cup shock with a stunning FA Cup Second Round replay victory at Leyton Orient..." They'd get a bit twitchy at 2-1, maybe re-write the first paragraph. At 2-2, most of the report would be scrapped and rewritten in such a way that it could easily be adapted to suit either team winning in extra-time. By the end, I'd imagine most journo's would have completely scrapped everything they'd written, and just listed the scorers, with a note to their editor saying "YOU deal with it!"
