Pink Floyd will play the London leg of Live 8 in Hyde Park on July 2. Today (June 12) is the last day to enter the compeition for tickets. To be in with a chance you must text 84599 with the answer to the following question: Which city is nearest to the G8 summit in July? A) Berlin, B) Moscow, C) Edinburgh. Lines close at midnight. All the correct entries will then be entered in a lottery and pairs of tickets will be allocated from tomorrow (June 13). Hope you get a ticket!!

Just a reminder for anyone not sure about going to Keith Chaos, there is an added bonus of a Ewan MacFarlane acoustic gig in The Commercial in Keith the next day (Sunday 19th)! Camping available on the saturday night if you fancy making a weekend of it!

Must say i'm surprised at the lack of response in Aberdeen to this gig. I've heard of people coming from Edinburgh, Dunfermline, Manchester and other places. I can't wait!!!

I've got an Anthrax 'Indians' 7" orange vinyl which was supposed to have 'Sabbath Bloody Sabbath' and 'Taint' on the b-side but actually has 'Imitation of Life'... heard that was pretty rare. Also got a signed Marillion programme from back when they played the Capitol in Aberdeen ('86/'87 tour). Got a few other limited edition albums, can't remember off hand which ones. They're tucked away in a cupboard somewhere...

Ritual de lo Habitual is an album i never get tired of listening to. Especially 'Three Days'! Haven't heard all of 'Strays' but 'Just Because' is a cracker! Great riff!
