  1. No probs Stuart, let you know as soon as. By the way i just looked up my Guiness Book of Hit Singles and although technically 'Another Brick in the Wall' was released in December 1979, it was still No. 1 until the 19th January 1980!! I'm full of useless facts and figures or at least i think that's what people say i'm full of!
  2. We're practising tonight so i'll ask the rest of the band then and let you know. We have been known to do a few 80's covers in the past and at the moment we've added Pink Floyd - The Wall to our set which also includes Boys of Summer Let you know later on tonight or tomorrow,
  3. Is this the same line up that will be playing at Keith? P.S. Hope your gig does go ahead, canna beat a bit of 80's music!!
  4. Cheers Stuart!! How's the spare wheel holding up?

  6. Ok, getting carried away here! It's actually the pulseunsigned top 40. Trying to get as much people as possible to vote for us and get a band from the North of Scotland as far up this chart as possible!! http://www.pulseunsigned.com/poll.aspx You have to register to cast your vote but once you've registered you can cast one vote every day. Don't know if any other bands are on this site but it's a good one to get on to. If you send them a cd there's a good chance you'll get airplay on their radio station which is also on Sky Channel 905. Plus you're able to tell everyone you heard your band on TV!! www.mindgoneblind.com
  7. No offence taken, and David Dickinson is truly a legend!! 8)

  10. G4 - Bohemian Rhapsody How anyone could let these idiots get away with destroying this classic song i'll never know! Louis Walsh, Simon Cowell and co. should rot in hell for their crimes!! Pop Idol, Fame Academy, etc must be destroyed!!!
  11. Biffy Clyro - Infinity Land Biffy Clyro - The Vertigo of Bliss Feeder - Pushing the Senses Grim Northern Social - s/t Going to buy Idlewild - Warnings/Promises next even though it hasn't gone down to well!
  12. Duran Duran, although they weren't manufactured, they could actually play. John Taylor was/is a mean bass player!
  13. They were nice guys. That night in The Hayloft there were about twenty of us through from Keith, me and one of my mates were 17 and the bouncers wouldn't let us in. Word got back to Toxik Ephex and i think they told the bouncers they weren't going to play unless we got in. So to prevent a riot the bouncers backed down!! Excellent night! Still got my blood soaked Toxik Ephex t-shirt (has been washed and the blood is no longer there) caused by a mental moshpit going on at the front!! Happy memories!!
  14. Let some of my mates hear Super Bob Hoskins Bros. They all thought it was ace!!
  15. Are Toxik Ephex still on the go? Last time i seen them was at The Hayloft in Inverness about 16 years ago!! Got their split e.p. they did with Shrapnel. Had a listen to it a couple of weeks ago for the first time in years!
  16. More tunes of ours are now available at: http://www.myspace.com/mindgoneblind Cheers for the response so far!!
  17. Bizarre!! But in a good way! Can just see myself at work tomorrow shouting out Bob Hoskins quite a lot and getting strange looks from everyone!!
  18. Spug or Mark would have their earlier stuff, i'll have to ask them.
  19. Cheers for the feedback, glad you like the stuff we're doing! To answer some of your questions, it was recorded at The Mill Studio near Banchory by Niall Matthewson, brilliant bloke to work with and just a great place to record at! Not sure when we're playing Aberdeen next. We've just started gigging again after we had to replace our drummer. We have played at The Malt Mill and Drummonds in the past but would really like to play in Aberdeen a lot more this year, so we'll get something sorted soon and i'll mention it on here as soon as we have some gigs confirmed. Our singer will be well chuffed with the comments about his vocals, Eddie Vedder is one of his main influences. As a whole we are probably influenced by Metallica, Pearl Jam, Audioslave and Tool among others. So thanks again for the comments, very much appreciated! Hopefully see you at one of our gigs next time we're in town!
  20. Forgot about 'Shades of God'. Just had another look in my cupboard full of tapes, vinyl, etc. and found a copy of it and an e.p. Think it's called 'Seals the Sense' As I Die is probably my favourite PL song!
  21. Mmmm...tough one this! Probably Motorhead - Ace of Spades Iron Maiden - Number of the Beast AC/DC - For Those About to Rock Marillion - Fugazi Rush - Signals
