I didn't realise Paradise Lost were still on the go!! What have i missed? Last album i bought of theirs was 'One Second'

TV on the Radio was the highlight of a Friday night when i was younger. I got into a lot of bands because of him. He will be sadly missed R.I.P. Tommy

Can't remember the exact details but it was something along the lines of 'one of my mates who used to be the singer in Mind Gone Blind was playing at Tarlair in a band called 'The Shining' the same year that Fish played. After the gig he met Fish in one of the local pubs. He was a huge Fish fan and when he was introduced to him he couldn't even speak, didn't know what to say to him so he punched him instead!!! Fish and one of his bouncers jumped on him and proceeded to beat him up!' As i said i don't know exactly how much of this is true and how much has been exaggerated over the years. I wasn't there myself so i'm just going on what i've been told!

I've a funny feeling i've heard about this incident!! Any more details? Was it after a gig at Tarlair?

Quite correct! They blew a heap of fuses while doing their souncheck!

Are they any good live? I fancy going to see them. Like what i've heard of them so far!

Grim Northern Social were fantastic on saturday night at The Loft! First time i've heard them, amazing band. Can't wait to play Keith Chaos on the same bill as them!

Not too bad. With a better production these songs would have potential. I'm sure we played at Drummonds with you lot a while back, think it was a battle of the bands and you definitely had a great live sound that night. More ballsy sounding! Good stuff! Agree with some of the comments about echo, distortion, etc but overall, well done. Something to Live For has a couple of nice wee bass runs in it! Good luck!

It's quite small. Went to see Idlewild there a couple of weeks ago and there were only 100 tickets for sale so i reckon it would possibly hold about 120. Great place for a gig! Only problem is it's location, a bit out of the way, between Elgin and Forres. Worth going to though!!
