Try using the other (do you have another?) cd drive. It might be that it can't install on one particular drive. I get that a lot

Make sure you have the most up-to-date DirectX. It's becoming quite essential in newer games. Yeah, sometimes you might need to uninstall the graphics drivers supplied by Windows and download them or get them from a disk (if you have one). OpenGL happens to be a bitch for me for some completely unknown reason.Of course, there's always the possibility that your computer is just crap

Yeah... but are they any good? Sony Trinitron Nicam TV... whoo, I want one of those! I'll end up getting a tiny television but with an amazing soundsystem. For me, it's the sound that really matters. Although a decent tv screen does the trick as well

If you already rent then go ahead... I recommend it. I mean, renting will cost a helluva a lot more. Lucky sod, my dvd collection is about 45. I do have some great films though

To be honest, I would prefer a decent dvd collection and a modest television screen. So, what's it gonna be? A television screen that you will eventually lose all enthusiasm for... or a dvd collection of about 200 which will have all your friends steaming with jealousy. I'd choose the latter, plus, as someone already said, those things will get better some day and that version will be worth about 100.

Who are the Rakes? And why is it that every band I hear of these days starts with "the" and ends with "s"? A few examples being The Shins, The Doves, The Others and now The Rakes. I read an issue of NME where they wrote very thoroughly about Hope Of The States. Maybe they just prefer the likes of The Libertines. What's the big deal?
