  1. Hey, to all fellow Cherry fans, the band have put one of the songs from the new album online: New Song Check it out! I'm likin' it so far Andy
  2. Our Bassist Grant wanted to have Dragstrip as half of our name. About a week later I was listening to Aerosmith's Ragdoll while thinking about it, then: Dragstrip Ragdolls Andy
  3. I thought there were 5 Rocky films? ?( Andy
  4. There is still good music about, plenty in fact. That being old bands still producing good material, and new bands. You're just judging by what gets air-time. Look harder (listen?) and you'll find! Andy
  5. I find it very hard to pin point my main influences personally. I have well over 50 - I love all music. I think the best idea is to have a jam, I think we'll both have a good idea then. Andy
  6. Hey guys, we are a recently formed local band who have recently lost our rhythm section! We need a new bassist and a new drummer. Influences aren't important as we aren't 100% certain on the band's direction at this point. The more influences the better right? PM Reply or TXT (07906319557) Andy
  7. Rock / Metal Track Hey guys, had this tune kickin about in my head today, so I put it down. Please tell me what you think: Rock / Metal Jam The solo is a little sloppy but am not a lead guitarist by trade, but decided to have a crack at it anyway. Constructive criticism is always welcome. Andy
  8. Most of the albums with Phil Lewis on vocals are ace, and I think they will be touring the UK in 2006 Andy
  9. Yeah, Phil left for a couple of years in the mid 90s, but he's been back since 99'. Andy
  10. Out next week!! Woohooo! Dunno if there are many other fans on here? But the new CD is sounding absolutely bitchin'! If anyone wants to hear a few clips: Tales From The Strip Clips It's near the bottom of the page. Anyone who doubted the band could go on without Tracii, listen to those mp3s!!!! Andy
  11. Put on some Barbara Streisand reallyloud and make sure the stereo isn't within reach. Watch them shoot out of bed to the off button! Andy
  12. Oh and for a few of other players I highly rate: Jason Becker - some of his stuff is genius, but I admit some of it falls to the same prey as Vai's and ends up as a widdley, widdley fest. Slash - Not technically the best, but that tone, and the soul in some of those solos! Andy Timmons - Versatile is an understatement, and he has bags of chops, melody and class. Mark Knopfler - Need I even explain why I put him in? Rory Gallagher - You'd be hard pushed to find a better bluesy rock n' roll player! Andy P.S. There are many, many more, but it'd take too long to list them
