It happens all the time, not just because someones 'is a cunt'. Some guy that drinks in the Moorings (not so much anymore) hates people with ginger hair. I tried to talk to him once not knowing this and he refused to talk to me and started getting all wound up. My mate later told me why. Thats just an example of the blind hatred. The jokes and all that dont bother me as much now as they did when I was at school, but I still dont see why it is acceptable.

I live in that area and its not too bad. It was much worse a few years ago. Bear in mind there is a shelter/drop in of some sort on Crown Street just as you turn into Crown Terrace, there are often obnoxoius drunk people in the area.

I think the bigger spiders are pretty resiliant to boiling water. If you hoover it up or flush it down the drain it could come back...if you want it dead forever, the only sure way is to crush it.

Last night was pretty fun...Dross were ace, (could hear both guitars clearly enough BTW) The Afternoon Gentlemen were pretty cool from what I remember, they managed to hold it together despite being 'too drunk to play'...that d-beat thing they did before their set was pretty funny too. I was surprised that I managed to play as well as I did, putting us on last was a dangerous move.

Martin used to come in to R&B all the time and ask to play BC Rich guitars in drop-d...the noise was horrendous. Gary came in a few times and drooled on the floor. I never see them about anymore, what happened to them?

It still finds heaps of stuff that doesnt exist and now it looks shit while doing it. Things get changed when they dont need it, seemingly just for the sake of updating and 'modernising'.

Listening to the CD now, ace stuff. I enjoyed the bits of the gig I saw/remember. There's too many distractions when drinking in moorings and trying to pay attention to bands haha
