  1. Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop, White 2GHZ Intel Core Duo CPU 2GB Ram 160GB Hard Drive DVD/RW Drive 15.4" LCD Display Windows Vista Home Basic Still under warranty for the next month. Very well looked after. Can be looked at before purchased. Open to offers, but nothing silly. PM me or mail me james.reid.2@googlemail.com Remember that I'm in Thurso so postage would have to be added on top of that
  2. 200 for a studio pre? Why is it still for sale? I'd buy it, but I've just spent 800 on new amps.
  3. If he pm'd me like that, I'd lol

Anyone looking for a Marshall 2x12? It's pretty minced, no tolex, been painted red. I can take a picture if you want. Still works and sounds good. Two celestion speakers in it. 110 delivered to Aberdeen

  13. First band I ever saw live... superb, I might make the trip down for this!
  14. 120 is a good price, if I had space on my pedal board, ie, another pedal board, I'd buy it!
  15. The Maxon is indeed a great pedal, buy it... nao!
  16. I did this tonight, no... last night, gah, they all blend in the same to me just now. I always take at least two or three shits before I play, but never right before I hit the stage!
  17. This has turned into a hair etiquette thread
  18. I think sound engineers would say the same about bands...
  19. Aye, you're a drummer, you don't need to hear anything, but everyone else needs to hear you and depending on parts of your songs, you need to hear the other guys in your band. We played a gig in Inverness just after xmas, I was standing beside the drummer and could only hear his snare and cymbals... I don't have a clue if I sung my harmonies in tune that night or not
  20. Fuck off... I play with a drummer that pounds his kit and I've been on stage and NOT heard him or parts of his playing at times. Saying "there is no way you won't hear the drums" is bullshit. You're basically saying you don't need a monitor mix because you should always be able to hear the drummer, correct me if I'm wrong, but I can bet I'm not the only one thinking that. Mind you, you're a drummer, why am I bothering EDIT: I'm also with Maxi about the gear thing. If I've spent a lot of money on my gear, and I have, and someone turns up without an amp and expects to use it, then they can think again. However, if something happens during the set, I'd gladly jump in and help. Cabs are the exception, it's a cab
  21. Bands should always (try to) stick around to catch the other bands. It pisses me off when bands decide to fuck off.
