  1. LOL... ps... i love that poem :lovestruck: cos i love to love
  2. SH-4? is that the JB? I have a JB. Its ok. sounds someway decent. Very shrill at times. Its very very bright. too bright at times. almost single coil like. You forgot to mention that your in an emo band um, is it the JB though?
  3. take care of it and it'll be fine. they are solid amps. they just need pretty much the same amount of care as a solid state amp! just remember to leave your amp on standby for a couple of minutes before and after each use
  4. i think i read that about 8 months ago
  5. at the end of the day. a guitar is a guitar. once you plug it into your amp... its takes over most of your sound comes from the amp if i was so bothered about the price of guitars and how much better a top quality guitar is, i would of bought myself a Gibson by now. But instead, i have my two homebuilt guitars and my two fenders(mex and jap) and i must admit... i'm fucking mega happy. the most expensive guitar i own cost me 400 including a hard case!
  6. i have a mexican tele... with a hotrail in the bridge. it sound pretty fuckin kick ass quite fat!
  7. yeah craig... but 9/10 times.... your amp settigs are crap
  8. for a good quality one, i recommend spending over 200 i've used wirless kits that have cost about 100 and they are pretty shitty. i switched between the two and the leads were about 10 times better for novelty value they are cool
  9. himmin.... fit ye wantin? a blue peter badge or somethin?... pah
  10. Valve amps create a bigger sound Leckie... so they sound louder Craig is right about the wattage though. I have a 100 watt head, and i cranked it to 10 one night(going through my 280watt 4x12) and it was insanely loud. Luckily i can switch the output down to 50 or 25watts!!! magic happens then
  11. hey, why do you run the DD-3 into the front of the amp now? cos i'm not there to turn it on i can get a very Watson-esque tone from my Sunburst Tele when i use the neck pickup. It ain't raised as high as yours... in fact, it sits flush with the pickup mounting ring. Its quite impressive that, for a rock player, your main pickup is the neck pickup. not many rock guitarists do that anymore... its all out bridge humbuckers. I really like the middle pickup setting. its really nice... sound really ace for bluesy rock riffs. When you gonna be modding that Tele of yours? whats the plans for it?

    New Guitar

The Black Tele is losing two of the stickers(the quik one and the one on the pickguard) i'm leaving the one on the body though. i like that one sticker. its cool the mustang is pissing me off. i dunno if i like the sound i get from it. i'm still trying to decide. the black tele is in the same boat, but i'm waiting to see how it sounds now that i've rewired it. it should sound a lot better for some reason. if not.... the JB is going bye bye and i'm gonna get a Kent Armstrong Motherbucker!!!! the new tele is very crisp... but if i roll back the tone i get a nice fat sound from it .... then when i play a solo... i turn up the tone and get the biting treble that would cut through most mixes!!
