  1. I'm afraid that must be a mistake, it's news to everyone here at The Lemon Tree.
  2. Michael Madsen plays the same character in every film he's in.
  3. Support for The Bees gig on Sunday the 26th of September has been announced as Little Barrie & Aspects. Tickets for this gig are already selling very quickly, less than 100 left, so buy now to avoid missing out. The Bees Little Barrie + Aspects Sunday 26th September Doors 8pm | Support 8.30pm 9 (6 concessions & Regulars) Box Office: 01224 642230 Two years after their Mercury Prize nominated debut album, Sunshine Hit Me, The Bees return to the charts with their acclaimed new record Free The Bees and a string of sterling festival appearances. The Bees have charm and infectious rhythms in equal abundance." Mojo www.thebees.info
  4. There are no plans to move the show to the Music Hall.
  5. The photographer's name is Neil Henderson, and his e-mail is neil@autopilotmagazine.co.uk if you want to get in touch to arrange a print. Yeah, the Spiritualizied pic is particularly cool.
  6. Thanks Rob, that's right, although there's no confirmed date for the reschedule as yet.
  7. Jason Byrne Thursday 18th November Doors 8pm/Onstage 9pm 9/6 concessions and Regulars "Jason's inspired, original brand of high-energy lunacy ensures there is no other comedian presently like him and no two performances will ever be the same. His fast, freewheeling style, fused with an array of offbeat props and sketches and a healthy dollop of audience participation, result in a frenzied whirlwind hour of stand-up." - chortle.co.uk
  8. Trashcan Sinatras plus Ballboy Sunday 7th November Doors 7.30pm/Support 8pm 7.50/5 concessions and Regulars 300 capacity Eight years after they went away, The Trashcan Sinatras have come back. Not that they went far. They still live in Glasgow and on Scotland's west coast. Nor did they moulder in inactivity. They kept playing, popping up on stages and in bars and at festivals, in Scotland, London and the Far East. In March, their long-standing cult status in America resulted in a slot at the prestigious South By Southwest music industry festival in Austin, Texas. They are now primed to release their fourth album Weightlifting (scheduled for the 18th of October on Picnic), and this seated gig at The Lemon Tree provides a perfect opportunity to experience their trail-blazing pop in the most intimate of environments. www.trashcansinatras.com

  12. Yeah they were pretty damn good, and though I'm a bit biased venue-wise it was great to hear them through The Lemon Tree's sound-system. My first Real Shocks live experience, very enjoyable too - I like high pitched screaming.

  19. He brought some down yesterday - we had our own ones anyway - but good to get the colour ones now.
  20. Magic, Pink Grease were probably the best live act I've seen since i started working at The Lemon Tree - they smashed our new roof in, threw instruments and stands into the audience, verbally abused the audience, and as finale the guitarist (pictured) then exposed himself and fell over with his trousers still at his ankles. The songs were pretty good too.
  21. Yeah I thought they were ace too, particularly the singer, Brendan, looking forward to seeing them with Real Shocks and The Wildcards at The Lemon Tree this Friday.
  22. Eh....who won Drummonds' Battle of the Bands last night?
