had a pretty drunken new year had a pretty boring birthday due to exams starting the day after passed all of my first year exams despite having done minimal study so was in complete shock went to see a few decent gigs(my chemical romance(twice ),the haunted,FFAF,onelinedrawing,the pixies,the bled) enjoyed an extremely drunken night out with taking back sunday got drunk with some friends one night and ended up forming one winged angel played first owa gig,screwed up and so played another one and it went ace lost three drummers got bored of my mediocre supermarket job quit said job and got a new awesome one in halfords wrote a lot of music joined leave it to egon drank an insane amount of absinthe at t in the park marvelled at the length of university summers attended some crazy parties started second year of degree and ended up doing soil science AND genetics in one semester passed my driving test crashed my car(not my fault) got a new car had lots of good times with friends got drunk a hell of a lot

douglas were amazing,such a shame they never made it big,B is the new way was awesome,alarm bells and fuckups is probably my favourite off the album,drinking alone was great.sounded equally good live.hell of a lot of talent there shame it wasn't really recognised in a big way.

the gig was immense mmw were great last night,very tight and new stuff is sounding really good hwg.oh dear.tight yes but bland as hell-very average i thought. alexis were pretty good,lots of energy,didn't like this band on record but they can definitely pull it off live. the bled were absolutely awesome,dale earndhart's seatbelt was an explosive opener,played a good set-mainly stuff off of pass the flask but some new stuff as well,completely blew alexis off stage.hope they come back-love this band to bits. also was it just me or was it really,really loud in there last night?my ears are still sore
