Not denying he has some talent but i wouldn't succumb to excessive wage demands as he seems a bit of a typical money hungry guy ashley cole style with thick wag to boot, or perhaps his agent over reaching the mark for money over career. underused at chelsea but then was he not injured & then unlikely to establish himself in a team of title winning "stars"? whatever happened i reckon he's more chance of a game for pool than Yousi for chelsea...

i'm torn cos I don't mind some of the dutch players but van bommel is an utter dick that should've been red carded or at least booked enough to miss out on the final. and robben's diving is getting boring. seen as spain just won the Euro's & dutch have already been to a final twice and never won it makes me think i'd be happy enough if they won. also because netherlands is smaller country/population makes me think it'd be nicer for them to win. but then again not too fussed either way!

england have the makings of a good squad ! sadly our makings of a good squad just didn't cut it last season, hopefully a few new additions will make all the difference. can but dream.

well my first thought was to say "meanwhile Utd lift the cup" but chances are they won't meet lower division teams in the semi & final! it's in our best interests to have our teams do well in europe but i'm as confident in them as i am in the dons in getting above 9th place next season.

and not United?! Can't see any scottish teams doing as well as last season...

At least Tony Mowbary had one good month in his short time at Celtic, well he was manager of the month in August. Hard to believe the dons won 4 games in January, probably mcghee's best spell, with only 3 games in an undefeated November coming close with victory over the champions.

didn't make sense there wasn't much of a pull for top players signing for Man City yet they've somehow managed i would be interested to see how aberdeen got on with signing players if they were an american franchise team and moved to edinburgh. you would have thought that a team like aberdeen could attract players away from the better performing "smaller" teams in the league, like st johnstone, hamilton, motherwell but there does seem to be a lack of desire to come and obviously mcghee hasn't worked out how to persuade decent players to move either. aye any fan that goes on wednesday will have to prepare to be embarrassed, again. if killie wasn't so far away & it wasn't midweek i reckon they'd have a decent support with them considering they'll probably feel it'll be another easy win against us and a step towards avoiding the drop.

seen as relegation battle in SPL is tight just wondered if anyone knows what happens if goal difference is the same, do they then go by goals scored?etc. i remember the championship changing their rules from goal difference to purely goals scored and then back to goal difference again.
