Had a peak into the store today and finally got my leads which allowed much noise making at captain toms. Looks like it will be a cool shop once theres more stock. Deffenately shall be returning in the near future to try out some of those amps!

Hate to kinda push a point, but will there be cables and the like on sale tomorrow. I can't be assed with Millers prices for stuff, and I don't really enjoy the experience of R&B that much. Oh, and one thing thats yet to be asked. Opening times? Chances are I'll be waiting at the door, money in hand if you have cables in. Which would be a funny sight to see. Oh, and planet wave cables are fucking class. Got one that I've been using for probably just about a year solid without any problem. Where as, I've been through like three venom cables in a short space of time.

Please, please, please value the importance of guitarists who use effects. If theres one thing I hate about the likes of Bruce Millers, it has to be the selection of pedals. R & B ain't too bad though, but I have to say, I don't like their prices. Oh and amps. It seems that Aberdeen stores are scared to see past names like Laney & Marshall. We could do use a wider variety of brands to go for. Deary me, another shop to widen the trail round the instrument and mustic retailers of Aberdeen. Never mind, could do with loosing a few stone anyway.

180 is roughly the rrp price for that model is my memory serves me correctly. Either that or 200 hundred, but thats a fucking dumb price considering it's a lower down AX model. Nice guitar if I remember correctly, though I only played it for about three minutes.

Took a while to find something for feedback on last nights gig. Righto, mmw. Em... well... I can't think of a better way to put it other than they bored the living shit out of me. The only thing I liked about their set was the tightness of the music. Asides that though, most of what i could be bothered listening to sounded like songs that were heavily "inspired" by a lot of other bands. I really don't understand why there is such a following for them at all. Small Enclosed area were pretty cool. Don't really have much else to say on them though, which is kinda unfortunate, but hell. Yeah, they were cool. And as for Broken Oath. Well, what can I say but Fuck! I've been hearing hype about this band since the Converge gig they supported in, and I have to say I agree with all of it. Not only did they have a great sound, but it was also basically as it was on record. Seriously enjoyed every minute of them, to the point that I'm still aching from my response. Oh, and they did serve a bit of humour in my opinion too, with Lee forgetting mmw's name. Unfortunately, even though Broken Oath were fucking awesome, and Small Enclosed Area were a cool listen, the music between bands, and the mmw performance was a complete let down in my opinion. I'm also quite dispointed at not getting to see Radio Lucifer, but thats the way things go. Beginning to wish I had stayed for Valhella too, as I've yet to stay for one. Never mind. Anyways, can't wait to see Broken Oath play here again

Is that the 6th of august, yeah? Afterall, Filthpact and Vomitus next friday at drakes, which is a must see in my books.

No no, Fuck Your God. I feel sorry for anyone who had to stand next to my fat self during Broken Oath. Toes will have been flattened due to rumbling about with dizzyness, caused by excessively tall head banging!

Just as a bit more food for thought, I'm away to record Song 3. This will probably be mistake ridden cause I wrote something as I said earlier, I can't play it at the speed I want it. I'll be sure to put up word when it's done.

Shit, I had posted a reply to this and noticed that I had read it the wrond way round, thinking your first comment was on song 1 and the second was on For No One. Relistened to the stuff I recorded and I must say I made a right fuck up of some of the bits on For No One. The repitition of the first riff that goes into the outro is completely fucked, to the point of just being a noise. Some of the intro came out wrong too. I personally put this down to me being a) excited to finally get stuff on the net, and b) the fact my nerve goes when I'm records. Fuck knows why, cause it's not like the computer gonna nail me if I fuck something up, but I still get nervous anyways. As for the quality, as you said, the quality of these recordings are pretty damn shit. And all I got to say is wow for your veiws on Song 1. Out of the folk outside the band that I've let hear the guitar work, only two so far have said they like some of it. The bit after the intro when the distortion kicks in. Thats down to my pedals, because I never noticed that the level on one of them was lower than the other, which gave that dulling down. But it doesn't seem to be as bad when played in rehersals. Hopefully someone heavy as fuck. I reckon I shall be attending and hoping for a right good headbang, and no doubt some finger dancing. Heard nothing but good things about Broken Oath, and heard their split with Eviscerate AD, so I'm looking forward to this one. And Valhella after words! * que the waynes world moment * Excellent!
