I miss Ma Glennies which was just off Holburn Street round the corner from Alpine Bikes , forget what is was actually called now. They had a huge selection of vinyl. Used to go in with my gran as she knew the couple that ran the shop. Might have been Thistle records or something like that.

Just to let folks know that the new Idlewild video for Ghost in the Arcade was filmed at Music Hall gig so you might see yourself in the video! DVD is available to buy from their website. Think full length DVD of the gig is out later in year.

Is anyone going to see Chris Cornells solo gig in Glasgow on June 27th at Carling Academy? Looking forward to hearing the new solo album Carry On! If Arms around your love is anything to go by it should be pretty damn good!

My mate in London has one spare ticket for Saturday 18th August which was meant for me, but I have Elvisness that night so bought myself a ticket for Friday 10th August. I can pass you his details if you are interested. Sure he would be happy with face value for it.

What an awesome gig that was! Viva Voce weren't great but really enjoyed Jeremy Whalmsley. The Shins were absolutely amazing! Played an excellent set and were flawless!

I would love to go to this, but Hols will be 8 and a half months pregnant!!! Might go down for the Sunday only, would love to see Bjork live.
