  1. Top of the KO league :D but everytime I look to be getting even marginally close to Dan he goes and has an incredible week.

Still, I'd have settled for 2nd before hand and I'm top of the Kittybrewster Bar league :)

I was gutted bolton arsenal was called off... I still had 2 arsenal players to play including Arshavin who was my captain! I would have had a tremendous week :swearing:

  2. Really enjoyed his set last night, although possibly not quite as good as his last couple of DVD sets... the music hall might have contributed to that, atmosphere-wise. Like Jester says, he was a little TOO heavy on repetition jokes.. I think one of those types of jokes per set is acceptable but he must have had at least 3 of them this time.

    Awesome comedian though.

  3. Agree greatly with Jeid and Ian on this one.

Mixing and engineering is something that takes a lot of trial and error and the development of a good ear. It's not something that can be learned quickly.

EQ is everything, and it's worth reading up as much on that as possible - to understand exactly where and why you need to create space in the mix for various instruments.

Same goes for compression; it's an amazing tool but utterly dangerous/useless in the hands of someone who doesn't know why or where to use it.

If you're serious about recording, you really need to spend hours/weeks/years researching and learning as much as possible. Experimenting and then understanding yourself will help you greatly in the long run.

I'd heavily recommend the Sneap forums, like Jeid says. Don't burst in with noob questions like "how do you get a good guitar tone?" etc etc. Instead scan every page of threads from the very start (about 2002/03!) and read all the threads that seem like they will answer your questions. I did this a couple of years ago and it was beyond helpful.

    Good luck

  4. Due to being without the internet for 9 weeks, I got off to a poor start. I'm slowly climbing the table, though.

As with every season, every time I transfer a player out he automatically scores double figures the following week.

    Cunts.

Mate, it's always the way it goes. I'm the other way round though - I plan on making a transfer in a week's time, but then that week they have a blinder. Happened with both Fabregas and James Collins over the last couple of weeks.

Still, I have had a decent season so can't complain to much. And even better is that Spurs keep doing the business which keeps me a very happy bunny

  5. I had a mare this week... Although my fucking subs scored 24 points! I had Bent, Cattermole and Zayatte all on the bench. Gutted.

I was also SO close to subbing lampard out for Fabregas a(nd making him captain) this week, but I thought "no, give fat frank one last chance". Useless son of a bitch. Whereas Fabregas scores infinity billion points.

  6. I should start listening to you.

Still, 57 points again this week, that's a big improvement on what I was doing at the start.

Man... Keane, Bent and Tevez last week would have taken you to winsville via Lots-of-points central.

I'm still clear top by quite a way in the normal league...but quite a few of my guys have some tough fixtures coming up soon.

  7. So Dan G since you have jumped on the bandwagon can you explain how you came to the decision that im really 17...FFS next you will be saying im sexytunk...Please inform me how me telling shitey jokes makes you think im 17?......

I can assure you im 34 years old.....My spelling/punctuation and lets be honest general grammar sucks ass...But again i cant see how this would make me seem like a teenager....Read back i have done NOTHING to deserve the cyber bullying from gadgies who i bet would never say half the things to my face they have said in here...

I'm soo fucking angry the same usual forum trolls have again decided to cyber bully another member/supporter of this forum......I'd love to meet a few of them in real life so we could iron out all this shite..Instead of every few weeks coming into random threads to tell me how much a fucking dick i am......

    Know me then judge me....

 lol - that was your best joke yet!

I wish you could see the irony of a 34-year-old getting sooo fucking angry over the internet and wanting to sort out "internet bullies" in real life... and then being confused as to why they might be mistaken for a 17 year old.

I'm afraid if all you present of yourself is illiterately written rubbish jokes, you are going to get judged accordingly. But don't give it the whole "know me in real life" rubbish when exactly the same applies to the people who are "bullying" you.

  8. Hello everyone, I'm looking for someone in Aberdeen that can make good dreadlocks ? Maybe someone does that or know someone who is doing it ?? Thank you.

You could try giving 'Dave's Dreads' a ring?

They've got a pretty good reputation, although they are located in Bridge of Don:

  9. I got the joke.

I didn't really find it very funny or witty.

I also didn't find it at all racist, as the butt of the joke is immigrants rather than a particular race of people. The general perception of immigrants is what makes you think it's racist.

Tom, didn't you used to be in a 'band' called 'Knife Rape'? Personally I find it quite funny as I appreciate the irony, but I doubt that anyone who has been/knows someone that has been raped, knifed or both will lol at that.

You find violent rape funny, he finds killing immigrants funny. I find violently raping immigrants funny. Horses for courses people. He told a shit joke, lets move along.
