Yeah but that's what a single is, isn't it, something that aims for the charts? It's all in the name...

It depends what you call a single. PERSONALLY, I call a single a song off an album or off an EP that intends to make the charts and has 'b-sides' and/or extra tracks that aren't available elsewhere. A band that puts it's three best songs on a CD isn't a single as far as I'm concerned, it's an EP.

Saying that, WBL released a 'video single' which had the EP version of 124 worlds on it plus 3 live tracks and then the video. The plan was to have CD-extra style copies, DVD coies and VHS copies but my computer fucked up after about 50 copies of the CD-extra version and for some reason wouldn't make working copies any more, not from the original source files or from working copies that had already been made. So if anyone has one of them, count yourself lucky...

I was up from Edinburgh, the roads around Perth when I was driving back at about 1am were MURDER!!!!!!!!!! About 20 feet of vision, all the road markings and cats eyes were covered in snow, I nearly stopped and snuggled into my emergency sleeping bag!!!!!!

WBL played the Rockers once. The guy we dealt with was known simply as 'H'.

We had a similarly shambolic experience - not as bad as you you guys but it was enough to put me off playing there again.

There's a band in Glasgow called Lifeblind who is managed by one of my pals, they have expressed intent to cover a Wibble song, the third one off the last EP the name of which escapes me at the moment. The singer guy loves WBL and the songs and thought that one was too good a song to go down with the band. I said as long as they don't claim it as their own or take any money for it or whatever it should be OK but thought I'd let you guys know, just incase you came across them playing it or something!

For anyone else reading this, I believe WBL EPs are still available from OneUp or the back of my car if you ever see me...
