  1. Argentina in the work draw! Quite pleased with that
  2. Is this a male thing? Because of that bit? Or do female runners experience this too? I can't say I've ever had a problem. I wear running tights though, so maybe that's why. Also haven't run anything longer than 5k.
  3. Orange is the New Black! That's pretty much my plan for the weekend. I'll have to look into Fargo.
  4. Oh no, I wouldn't do. It's just good not to feel like death warmed up when I'm finished is all. Encouraging.
  5. Nailed the twenty minute run. Felt like I could have kept going at the end, so hopefully the rest of the plan is going to be a cakewalk. Also submitted my Charity Place Application for the Edinburgh Marathon next year, so fingers crossed that Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre Lothian approves me! I've e-mailed them about it so should be fine.
  6. Let's just say I didn't really look, and am now hoping that Valladares gets injured in training.
  7. Quite like the Adidas one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jR1XQsCiAKE And Nike, who don't even care Ibra won't be there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iaVtinE8oO8
  8. Is there an Abdn Music league on Twatball yet? My squad: Keeper: Donis Escobar Defenders: Glen Johnson, Pepe, Ramos, Alves (in retrospect I shouldn't have chosen those three, but I think they'll get a good number of bookings between them) Midfield: Fellaini, de Jong, Meireles and Mascherano Strikers: Higuain and Balotelli I'm not good at football.
  9. That sounds ace and I would sign up but I'm having trouble getting past the captcha despite being a real live fleshy human.
  10. I think regardless of The Mountain's fate, Tyrion's champion was killed. I don't think there is such a thing as a 'draw' in these situations. Oberyn's deid, so Tyrion's deid.
  11. Yeah, it was a bit of a slow burner all round, but jesus christ that ending was fucking gruesome. I've never felt physically sick watching something before but that just about did it. Peter Dinklage and Sophie Turner have been the standouts for me this season and I thought they were great in their individual scenes. I'm excited for next season as they've been casting a LOT of Dornish characters, including Oberyn's bastard daughters (not a spoiler, because that guy got around) and don't forget they've got Myrcella Baratheon as well. I am excited to see what they finish on this season.
  12. Tomorrow is the true 'hump' of the c25k training - the 20 minute run with nae walking! Managed the two eight minute runs and felt really good afterwards, even after upping my pace during the second run. Plus, although I should have been doing this from the start, I did my proper stretches after the cool down walk for the first time yesterday and have none of the soreness/stiffness I sometimes get after running faster than normal. Huzzah. Starting to feel a real difference, basically.
  13. Spain beat Bolivia 2-0. I didn't see the game, but the possession stats seem typically Spanish, 74%. Bolivia didn't even get a shot on target. They didn't have any Real Madrid or Atletico players in the team, so I can only imagine that they'll be exponentially better against the titans of El Salvador.
  14. Managed to cross Patti Smith and Marnie Stern off my list last year. Would it be cheating to say Sleater-Kinney again? In the event they reform, of course. Otherwise it's a pretty short list. Neko Case David Bowie Ellen Allien
  15. Another day another rejection e-mail. I don't mind most of the time, but this was for a really decent looking role at RGU. Spent ages doing the application as well. I know it's a case of just continuing to try, but when the agencies are quiet for months on end as well it's just depressing.
  16. Yeah, Joan this season hasn't been the best. The scene where Bob Benson proposed to her was probably her best this season. I would still watch my Mad Woman show though. Joan would be properly rounded out character-wise again. Fuck this year off malarkey.
  17. Reading that interview, it makes more sense now. I suppose after Nipplegate I should have learned to expect anything. The episode was fantastic though. I hope Elizabeth Moss wins an Emmy for Mad Men at some point. I would totally watch a show where Peggy and Joan start their own firm with Dawn and Shirley. Sassy Sally Draper can intern.
  18. It entirely threw me off when I first watched it, but since mulling it over I think it sort of makes sense. I think Peggy and Don's interactions in the last seven episodes will be key, but I'm probably totally wrong.
  19. That was a really good episode up until the last, what, 30 seconds? What in the blue blizzety blazes was that?!?!?! I mean, is Don having an aneurysm? Unless it's some sort of message that has an impact on the next seven episodes. I don't know what, given that they resolved a lot of loose ends here, but still. That sort of threw me for a loop.
  20. A friend of mine, whose opinion I normally trust, claims that Mad Men has well and truly jumped the shark with this episode. I still haven't seen it, but is he just talking crazy?
  21. I've heard it's a great episode. Can't wait to watch it after work!
  22. Fucking US holidays. No Game of Thrones to look forward to. At least Mad Men is on.
  23. Hahaha, I was about to say 'Robb's dead you twat' and then remembered that Rickon exists. He just fucks off in the books and all. Poor Rickon.
