I have got two spare standing tickets for the Blink 182 gig as two of my friends cant make it, I'd rather sell them as a pair as one on its own would be harder to sell. AARrrrgghhhhh, Still have an uncool feeling in my gut, but moshulu was well worth treking into town for. The music and athmosphere (from what i can remember) kicked ass. I think i got a little too drunk and started to attack anything that didn't have a dick.... and i asked for 'one armed scisors' to be played for about the 3rd week and still no cigar All-in-all it was a fairly ace new years and i'll almost definately be back at moshulu in a years time..

To get back to the main argument a guitar will be a guitar, but to be fair, it's sound limmitations are only as limmited as the user. Guitarists use different methods to extract sounds, the ATDI used pedals to create some awesome sounds, Rage guitarist used different parts of the guitar to get different textures (putting the jack on the bridge - volume control moving...) so i'd rekon its just down to the user and how they exploit their instrument. Also with guitar's it comes down to prefrence. I'd still rather play my original squier stratt (was no more than 200) than my Peavy V-Type (cost over 400) because i prefer the sound of the squier even thought it's heavier, longer,and has a larger fretboard.

Have your amp settings and everything like that written down or pre-done as to save soundcheck time. Stay on the good side of the soundguy, he makes you sound good..... Always bring a mini tool thing (Leatherman or something) you never know.... Ask about equipment in advance unless you're bringing everything you need. Make sure you've had as much practice as you need. And have fun, jump about, dont let the audience intimidate you (they'll like to see movement as well as sound). ROCK OUT!

Its two CD's with a volume esque mixer (1 volume for each CD player) - pretty easy if you've got good co-ordination skills. Should be able to pick it up in no time.
