  1. You've both lost me again..... i do not suck willy and i have nothing to get over, some constructive criticism, then a point of view.... that's all i've provided.
  2. What exactly is my scene??? I put up a constructive post about how you might improve peoples views on your performance by making less of a spectacle about your band and i get bumrushed with comments like 'fuck you'.... it doesn't make you guys (and to an extent the band in general) look affa friendly. I think this is why you get more scrutiny.... Ancient proverb: self praise is no honour. No other people/band come on here and say thet they're in a 'fucking great band' whether they believe it or no. And the whole idea of fudge not being ready for the weapon gives the idea of the borders of self belief, confidence and passion for your band being pushed into the realms of arrogance...
  3. Re: Re: Re: are fudge ready for weapon... ^ I dont get it..... ^ The last time the weapon did this before a gig, it was the only thing that stopped you guy's from being appreciated for the hard work you'd obviously put in to it. I dont understand why you'd want to build the band up again and risk ruining another good performance because the crowd are expecting an international superband that are going to 'smoke/blow away/whatever' two other bands.
  4. ^'The Matches' ^ (GEDDIT??????) Sunday 14th March Barrowlands Glasgow Got one ticket to sell for this show..... selling it with a lift down and back the same night, was fifteen for the ticket and about a tenner petrol money is all you need. Thats 25 notes for 4 bands at the barrowlands and a lift there (sunday afternoon) and back (sunday night/monday morning) The car's a mondeo if you were worried about being all squashed in a tiny wee car! If you just want the ticket i'll let it go for 15 bucks (face value).
  5. Sum 41 - In Too Deep - With Finger Tapping Solo..... ho ho ho
  6. The Living End (anything) CKy (I.D.R.) Blink 182 (everything) Incubus (s.c.i.e.n.c.e.) Zebrahead (waste of mind)
  7. i dont think it can beat last year's line up - and only having one confirmed band is a bit shaddy - for me and my hommies it's a toss up between leeds and a holiday....
  8. And if irony was made of strawberries..... we'd all be drinking a lot of smoothies That's the funniest thing i've ever read (LOL)
  9. Aye - Spik aboot an ace night - ken!!!!!!! Totally rocked my world, spoke to heaps of new people like Hog, Lester and other such characters, by the end of the night my memory is a bitty hazy, but i remember orwell delivering an unpresidented volume of rock, and getting the biggest cheer by a mile for the newcomer award..... (some vote riggin'????). It was also nice to see almost everybody else dressed to impress, but overall i couldn't help but get the feeling that the night was being kinda rushed for the air guitar night. Overall a pretty decent alcohol fuelled affair.... All Good!!!
  10. Or maybe it's because they're finally getting recognised for the quality band they are. Although their new album is pretty crud compared to the previous two recordings, it's far more radio friendly which kinda sucks. Saying that they've always had a decent following in America and have recently built a strong support in Japan.... Bring On The Zebrahead!!!!!!
  11. I'll give you 20 for the BB-2.....
  12. I'd say as a performance by Blink, it was just a display of how much more professional they are as actual musicians and a proper 'band' now - they've almost lost the whole 3 guys fucking about with instruments vibe. Toms vocals were amazing - i was a bit concerned after hearing the live and sketchy radio one session midweek, but he nailed practically every note perfectly. Travis was also more than amazing and his solo couldn't do anything but sustain an ear to ear cheesy grin for another minute of the night. Mark seemed very confident now wandering around the stage freely and also singing very well. I would say i was dissapointed by the lack of pre-enema material, and they only played for a little over an hour but overall the energy and emotion put into every song was electrifying, even the slower songs were played in a way that could keep the crowd going, and at points in the set i was just standing there with my mouth wide open thinking 'WOW - this is fucking amazing'. I'd say it was the finest performance i've seen by a band, and the arena wasn't too big either - a percect set by an amazing band at the pinnacle of their sound so far. As for the support - the nervous return and motion city soundtrack, what was the deal? - totally out of place with the blink 182 sound and the majority of the audience. So much other smaller bands could have played more fitting set lists and would have benifited with a better reception from the audience. but hey - as long as they made one new fan each, it was worth it
  13. To be fair ther's not much bands that can rattle out as many catchy songs as green day and the living end. Also both singers sound pretty similar.... and ifthey sounded drastically different they wouldn't have been chosen to support Green Day as far back as '95..... if you see where i'm coming from
  14. Like Green Day but better musicians/songwriters, Consists of guitarist, Double Basist and Drummer..... Guitarist is more than amazing, crazy bluesy/jazz solo's in some songs. Some rare walking bass lines, and above average punk drumming - but they shouldn't just be branded punk.... they're catchy and enjoyable to listen to. I'd recomend downloading any of their songs but the best of the ones i've heard are 'Second Solution' (Also features on Idle Hands soundtrack) and 'Fly Away'..... so good they've got to be fattening!!!! What are you waiting for???? Check 'em out if you aint already!!!!!!!!
  15. What the fuck's everyone on about 'Travis never got a solo!!!111!' we're you's even listening???? Just before they went of stage for the first time he ended one of the songs with at least a minute long drum solo - the only thing was that tom and mark we're makin' some noise with bass chords and guitar distortion - however i heard the solo - and it kicked ass. On whole - The gig was pretty avarage, 2 support bands put on the bill to make it look like blink are moving in a new direction (or as ben and i agree'd - for the 'cool factor') neither of them tickling my fancy - although the Motion City Soundtrack seemed to get a decent enough reception!!!!! Blink However - was worth the money just to see them. Their set was as tight as it's ever been, and they were all on fire. kinda got the feeling that a little bit of enthusiasm and crowd working was missing. The songs were all done beautifuly and some were rocked up to get the crowd going more. Stay together for the kids was amazing (I could have cried).... A bit miffed they never played Adam's Song, Carousell and only one song pre-enema. Also, as said they only played for a little over an hour, but what they did do was pure gold!!!!!!
  16. Living End - 'Fly Away' or 'Second Solution' (Amazing blusey punk solo's) Agent Orange - 'Everything Turns Grey' (not even hard - but sound sooooo good) Zebrahead - 'The Real Me' (I'm sure this was taken from a porn soundtrack)
  17. One of those bad boys???? could be the wierdest thing i've seen in a while.... It promises everlasting sustain on notes but what about when it runs out of battery???? Anyone Else Interested Read More About It Here!
