Dwan is on another level.....the "World Champ" is proving himself to be the "World nit" and Dwan crushed him on that hand.... HSP was great for the first six episodes of this season but they have changed players now (I think chronologically the newer episodes happened earlier in the setup) Phi Laak, The Magician, Howard Lederer, a bored Antonius.....pretty poor stuff. Hey, Away from home just now...when I am back (end of week) I will fire up the machines and get the head hour counts. Could be quite high, hence the cheap price, one machine was maintained well and came from a mastering studio in London, the other I never used (bought to bring my system up to 16 tracks but stopped doing any recordings around this time due to time/space constraints)

Anyone into a bit of the cairds will know these two....Durrrr and Antonius did a heads up cash game during the Aussie Millions cash game earlier this year, as a warm up for the Durrrr challenge (offering 3-1 for anyone to take him on, $1.5mil to their $500k). Antonius is on fire hitting every dream card on the river, but Durrrr's reads are so dead on the radar he really manages to minimise the losses, i think anyone else would go broke and go on serious lifetilt after some of these beats..... Only played the Monday night game at the G twice and thought it was a bit shit...but each time I didn't get a card higher than a fkn 7 the whole game... Friday night 10 rebuy is a great game tho... Can't tempt you with a 50/50 split after stakeback then eh? I feel your pain in the pockets...I played on Sunday and couldn't win a pot....AK .... no callers...AQ...no callers....KK in the blind, get a walk....raise up 84s to "mix it up"...no callers! then when I've got less than 10 blinds I make a move at a nice pot where i was a slight favourite (straight/flush/straight flush draw!), guy can't fold his AK and wins ace high... gl tonight...are you playing on the 25th?

That post is only 2 days old I'm not going tonight cos I'm skint (maybe teabags will stake me? 8-)) My 200 game thing went a bit tits up....too much idiots at the $5 level...I will try again at the $10SNG's.... Theres no deadline really....they just want players that won't lose them money playing on their site and they'll put up the money for it if you can do it. It's flexible for people who have jobs, families etc. Some staking sites have you playing like 200 SNG's a day, 16 tables at a time....fck that...

William Hill is now just another skin on the iPoker network (like Titan, Blue Square, Victor Chandler, Mansion etc.) I think Cryptologic (who used to host Will Hill) are now Wagerlogic the only site I know left on them are Interpoker, so they may have the same games. If you like Bounty Hunters, try Sky Poker....biggest idiots ever play on that site (although the RNG is as screwed as poker stars) Anyone going to the International tonight?

Blatant "I am about to blow 200 on poker" post

It sucks getting big hands early on because no one is going to play a pot with you unless they are unlucky enough to have queens or jacks (even then they shouldn't be losing too much chips with those hands in the early levels) You do always get the live ones but they do invariably get luckier than most..best not to go too nuts when you have a big hand early on. SNG's don't really start until the blinds are 10x the avg stack...then you play shove/fold and pray the other folk at the table don't run into monsters, and that they understand ICM and shove/fold equity...

If anyone wants to play poker online and get staked to do it, a message board I visit are looking for people to take up their challenge of beating either 6000 cash hands or 200 SNG's (min buy in $5).... I am going for the 200 SNG challenge...if you pass the test (which is to breakeven or show a profit) they will be staking you 100% at a level higher than you trialled at, for a 50/50 split....its aimed at casual punters who don't look at 16 tables 20 hours a day so its a good chance to get a lot of online experience without risking any of your own money (you need to trial off your own money, but the idea is that you are profiting or breaking even so you don't need to risk anything) PM if you want more details....I will be officially giving live poker a miss for a good while now....only 30 games into it but seem to be doing ok.... </brag>

Dunno how that will work....as I don't know if the USB mics become sound cards themself or not....if you had your DAW setup for the sound card then it would be looking for the sound from the sound card inputs....but maybe you can set the input independently....not really sure!

Still for sale. Yes this will provide rock solid performance when recording multiple tracks, I ran it at 8ms latency, but it can go much lower (8ms is a good enough trade off when you want to run a load of tracks and effects) The sound card has 2 inputs (6.4mm jack) but with an outboard ADAT converter you can record 8 inputs to 8 seperate tracks at once.
