in the last two days ive bought a bus pass, printer, big mirror,internet router, lots of food, a bin, cleaning products, paper, erm cant think what else

they are still wondering about.... infact steve played opal with stayover in june....

my course believes that you should never have classes that early. the earliest we start is ten. partly because a lot of students have to travel from glasgow and party because of the nature of the course, they expect us to be out late at night at gigs and that we wont get up early otherwise. its fantastic!

im just dissapointed i had to dash off to catch my bus. first time in ages i didnt drive and i just assumed it would be finished well clear of 11. i was wrong :-( but an ace night.

my mums a good driver and she was still in a car crash cause some idoit was driving on the wrong side of the road. luckily because she was going too fast, she got out with damaged ribs. but if she'd been speeding. no matter how good a driver she is, with the other car hitting her she'd be minced cause it was going really fast.

rember there is dundee to go through. and you cant have done 96 between like dundee and aberdeen cause there are soo many speed cameras

yip. im just about to start my second year. dont like ayr too much. i prefere aberdeen but im stuck there for uni so have no choice.

i did ayr to aberdeen on wednesday in 3 hours :-D and that was with stopping in dundee briefly. it then took me half an hour to get across aberdeen cause of traffic. grr

hmm would the cameras covering the other side of the road not be able to see the licence plate if they looked through the records. im not too sure how it all works.

The 775,000 initiative consists of 40 banks of hi-tech cameras at points between Bogend Toll, north of Ayr, to Ardwell, south of Girvan and is the largest in the UK. i dont get it though. the bit of road i drive on is just a straight forward dual carriageway. but im not too sure on the other bit it talks about going to girvan. but 40 cameras in 28 miles?? someone at uni was saying its like one of the most expensive streches of roads for tax payers now. *edit* i would like to say im not complaining because i like to speed, but i am a confident driver and sometimes sit around 75 mph, but its annoying because you have to be very careful and drive below 70 the whole way just incase you accidently speed up on a hill or something. although im not too sure if these cameras will fine you if you go over 70, or if they are set to 85 like the others *shrugs*

has anyone else come across these? although i think only two places in britain have them.... they are such a bitch. theres a heap of them on the road between kilmarnok and ayr. for anyone who doesnt get them, they work out your speed at the first one, then they know what time you should be at the next one so if you speed up to say 80 in between then they know because you pass the second camera too soon. and there are like 5 pairs in the space of a few miles :-( im glad my dad had told me about them or i wouldnt have been paying attention.

some spots near asda in bod are good. like the country road just before the T junction.. some good biews there. or the park in the buckies, round about there you get some good views

for the people who say skateparks arent used or are a waste... i worked at the one a few years ago that was down at the beach for the jesus revolution and it was always really busy. if the coucil build one...people will use it. the one at the beach was only a temp one, and the council wanted money for the land being used. they did try and find someone to move it too like a hall somewhere cause it took soo long to build (and i helped :-D) but no where was found. i dont think. it was a watse

we started to leave the campsite at 9.45.... made it back to aberdeen at 6.30ish then got drunk...... we're both shattered but he's at work now.haha but i may as well say it again for when he reads this... happy birthday for yesterday :-) x x x
