What the hell is going on in Aberdeen just now? Is it really as grim as i'm hearing? Oil price goes down, contracts get lost, people lose jobs...do I understand the situation right? If that's the case, then when the price of oil goes back up everyone will be back to work until it happens again. What a horrible market. My pet hate for the day: any social media account with 'bible' in the title.1 point

I'm sad to report that Andy Lawson, one of the best guitarists ever in Aberdeen, has passed away. Andy was a talented singer as well as a brilliant guitarist. I remember him from back in the 60s when he played with the Royal Teens and later when he teamed up with the late Brian Youngson to form Cool Spoon. RIP Andy.1 point
