neepheid
There rarely is a best AND cheap. I recommend Rich Lewis in Bridge of Don, although it'll distract him from refinishing my Gibson Ripper He does great electronics/soldering work - really neat and tidy, better than the factory does. He helped me rewire a G&L Tribute L-2000 for single coil operation and also replaced the bust bass pot on my G&L El Toro. email's the best way to get hold of him - ou7shined@gmail.com
Soda Jerk
I can vouch for Rich Lewis. Sorted out the wonky frets on my Telecaster, and now it plays wonderfully. Super nice guy, and he had it sorted it less than 24 hours. 'Fatboy' on here is a dab hand with a soldering iron too. He's fitted a pickup for me before at a fraction of the price the guitar shops would be charging. Drop him a PM.
