It was an important part of my youth, and too many of those places are now gone forever it would seem. Back when I first started going to the wig it was a very different place, far more rock and metal orientated. It had black tables etc. Was a cool place with a great jukebox.Later on it refurbed and wasn't so cool looking but it did sell Addlestones, real ale, decent bottled beers, and some flavoured vodka. It also had a pinball machine, and the jukebox was still decent.Then they brought in the big screen sports etc, ditched the Addlestones, the flavoured vodka, the pinball... and me.
