37 squids to see has been acts performing in a soul-less shed away from town with lots of punters who dont like music generally - my idea of hell !

that's very big of you.

Why do people have this inexorable 'need' to do down what other folk listen to?

Why can't they just live their happy little existence and let people who want to listen to Bryan Adams, like my fiancee, do just that.

You ain't being force fed the stuff, so how about you stop trying to be a musical snob/fascist and just let folk do what they want?

it's always easy to take a quote out of context for the purposes of self-righteous humour

I dont mind Wet Wet Wet they are a pop group and are quite good at what they are doing in my opinion. 37quid though? its a bit steep.

yes, I'll admit the ticket price looks a bit off, but sadly that tends to be the going rate for most gigs by 'established' acts.

It means the same thing if you take it in context and the humour was in the delivery.

thanx for bringing it all back. We had moved the discussion on a little since my irrational hissy fit.

Do try and keep up.

Unfortunately you all moved on while I was typing, damn phonecalls. Imagine my dismay when I spotted that everything was alright again.

god i thought we'd got rid of them, still pellow hardly set the world alight with his solo 'career' and the price of rehab is increasing hence the hefty admission price. do they really think anyone cares?
