framheim
1st two nights were fucking ace. hope is important night was brilliant. no support so we got a mixture of hits to warm the band up then they played hope is important all the way through before taking requests. even played queen of the troubled teens!last night for 100 broken windows we got a twilight sad acoustic set to warm us up before idlewild blew through the album. once again we got some extra songs and requests at the end. two great nights, the band were on fine form and it was ace to hear songs we'd not heard live for years. Chris
HII and 100BW would have been aceThey were. Hope Is Important was the best Idlewild gig for 10 years. Fucking briliant gig, he was even screaming again (though was back to wimping out of the shouts for the early stuff at the 100 Broken Windows gig). Jeanette
The Remote Part was pretty good. Although there was no Scottish Fiction part to the The Remote Part which was a wee bit of a disappointment. Interesting little 'encore' set. Played a couple b-sides and some other tracks including When I Argue and Roseability. I enjoyed it but not as much as I was hoping. Maybe that's the two gigs in one weekend syndrome - Biffy tonight. KarmaTsunami
I had an ace time last night! I was a bitty disappointed at the lack of Scottish Fiction during The Remote Part, but the extra set was great, it was awesome to hear Roseability, Listen to What you've Got and Rusty off of 100 Broken Windows! I quite enjoyed the Foxface acoustic set as well.

Its only about a minute worth of music and they're not going to wheel a decrepit old man out of his bed for that. And you'd need him to pull it off. But hey-ho nevermind.I thought Foxface were pretty poor to be honest. I'm sure there's better acoustic style acts that could've played. Maybe I'm just jealous that the night before got Twilight Sad.
