It also names Israel, Afghanistan, China, Egypt, Iran, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Syria as places where inmates could face torture."We find it to be offensive for us to be on the same list with countries such as Iran and China. Quite frankly it's absurd," U.S. Ambassador David Wilkins told The Associated Press on Friday. "For us to be on a list like that is just ridiculous." There's nothing wrong with torture if the people involved are definitely guilty and withholding important information that may cause further loss of life.All countries have used (or still use) methods of torture at some point. Whether guilty or not.Torture should be reserved for those already found guilty via the legal process.Yeah, you may have missed my point there, i was only talking about torturing guilty people not people who are still awaiting trial.And i disagree with your first point as it depends on the reason for torture and if the person doing it wants a proper answer or just wants to feel that the torture is justified. You have one of them in custody, they aren't talking, they know where she is. All other avenues are exhausted, torture is the only option you have left. They will kill her if you don't find her first.Are you really saying you wouldn't do everything it takes to save her life, even if you have to hurt someone in the process?By the way.
