Dallas
your always at the front. Hmm well there is a trains from aberdeen are 1:12, 3:20 buses like every hour. But as you have an exam till 2 the 1 train is out.
KarmaTsunami
bus number 320 you say?yes i'm always at the front, i'm tiny and like my nose being in the centre of my face and also like being able to breathe. i love the biffy and besides festivals there's not a gig where i haven't been front row. it's just so i can see 'em and sing without suffocation. Dallas
3:20 is a train time. Dunno what the bus number is the one that goes to inverness. I think they leave the bus station like 5 past every hour well thats what it used to be.
KarmaTsunami
i'll try to find out about buses....failing those then the train may be my best bet..
Dallas
I would say train is better. It does not take aslong.
KarmaTsunami
that's true...how long does the train take..where does it drop me off. and more importantly, the biffy gig has been upgraded as far as i'm aware...
Graham
The number 10 bus goes through forres. You'd be able to get a time table from the bus station, or you could get the times online from http://www.stagecoachbus.com.

KarmaTsunami
not sure about getting back that night. if anyone's driving i'd love to go back with you afterwards. i'm small, won't take up much room, and willbe quiet if you so wish
Hog
There is an express but which bypasses certain towns on the way.....check that out, it can save you a lot of time!
RossW
All the number 10 buses from Aberdeen to Inverness stop in Forres and if you ask the bus driver nicely he'll drop you off at the end of the road which leads the the East Grange Loft. The loft regularly puts on mini-buses to take punters from Forres to the Loft and back for gigs as the venue is out on the sticks. If you are arriving early, I would suggest that you go into Forres itself and see about getting on to the mini bus. If you want to do this, you'll have to phone Grigor at the Loft to book a place on the bus (assuming he is organising one). The Loft's number is on the ticketmaster website I think. You should all come through early and spend the day in Forres. If the weather is nice, its great. Excellent pubs! Hope he cleans it up before the gig though.. and it doesn't stink of cows and stuff... everyone has to go just so they can say in years to come "yeah i saw Biffy Clyro in a cow shed in a small town..." RossW
Student return from Aberdeen to Forres is 7.35 (roughly). A single is a fiver. Its very cheap, my saving grace when The Gloria Flaw were based in Forres.

RossW
The last bus woud be too early i'm afraid. You do just need your student card to get student discount on the No. 10 bus.
