Teabags
Bought the LP about 6 months ago cos of the artwork from a stall on Belmont Street.Listened to it for the first time last night. Fuck me. I'm actually in love.Best thing to come out of the 70s other than Black Sabbath or ZZ Top. But even thats debatable.

Diesel
It's a great album. 70's prog/pomp rock at it's very best.If I remember correctly, Side 2 of the vinyl is noticibly louder than Side 1 - deliberate, apparently. ps - good call on ZZ Top and The Sabs

pogofish
On the subject of things prog, Tangerine Dream were belting it out again in London at the weekend:Some of them even came along to the pub afterwards! They were last seen in a fairly merry state, about to go into a Soho club, with a guy only known to anyone as Bigmoog - gawdhelpem! As for ELP & particularly BSS - I go through periods of loving & hating them/this album.
Bodast
Aw I love it! I'm going to put it on now. Have you heard the single "Brain Salad Surgery" and also the stories behind the naming (Whip Some Skull on Ya and so on)?But I gave you life! What else could you do?To do what was right!I'm perfect - are you?Yaaay
jester1470
Saw Carl Palmer playing with Asia last year, and was blown away by his drumming, a really brilliant and slightly mad drummer. ELP epitomised 70's OTT rock music, great fun, they had a lorry each for their stuff with their names on the top of the lorries.CheersStuart
