The joys of having more money than sense No way could most people release this but fuck it somehow got out there and is basically Mike Patton freaking out on some designer drug and spouting shite through various vocal distorting thangs. If I could do this kinda thing for a living I'd have gone into rehab having suffered from eating too many forms of plastic to exist anymore.I find it strangely comforting in a being-alone-in-the-flat-kinda-way to listen to Patton twitching through a mic. The album 'Duke Lion Fights the Terror'.It got terrible reviews, everyone saying it was terrible that he could release this shite, jsut cos he could afford to pay for it, and cos noone would tell him it sucked.But I personallly love that album. framheim Posted April 25, 2004 Report Share Posted April 25, 2004 mike patton's album was recorded on a 4 track while touring and released on a tiny label with no money thrown at marketing it. big dumb face was released on a major label and had a marketing campaign. both fairly unlistenable though. the patton one is interesting but i wouldn't recommend repeated listening. it can only do your head harm.
